The "Schily" Tool Box is a set of tools written or managed by Jörg Schilling. It includes programs like: cdrecord, cdda2wav, readcd, mkisofs, smake, bsh, btcflash, calc, calltree, change, compare, count, cpp (K&R original), devdump, hdump, isodebug, isodump, isoinfo, isovfy, label, mt, p, patch, sccs, scgcheck, scpio, sdd, sfind, sformat, smake, sh (Bourne Shell), star, star_sym, suntar, gnutar, tartest, termcap, and ved.
Release Notes: cdrtools has been bumped to 3.01a07. For the Bourne Shell, this release fixes Sun bugs #6568535, #6776989, and #6879678, reorders sh/word.c to no longer call malloc while within a locstak() grow action, adds the new builtin command "alloc", changes some memcpy() calls to memmove(), and makes dozens of changes in memory management to prepare a move from sbrk() to malloc(). For Bourne Shell and bsh, it supports in-kernel pfexec. It avoids some GCC buffer overflow warnings which were incorrect.
Liferea (Linux Feed Reader) is a fast, easy-to-use, and easy-to-install GTK/GNOME desktop news aggregator for online news feeds and Web logs. It supports the important syndication formats (Atom, RSS, and OPML). Liferea supports offline reading.
Release Notes: This release fixes some regressions and adds a new item read history navigation feature. It adds a full screen mode option. It will now request the dark theme variant when compiled for GTK+ 3.0.
Task Coach is a simple todo manager to manage personal tasks and todo lists. It grew out of a frustration that well-known task managers, such as those provided with Outlook or Lotus Notes, do not provide facilities for composite tasks. Often, tasks and other things to do consist of several activities. Task Coach is designed to deal with composite tasks.

TXR is a new data munging language. TXR's special pattern language provides template-based matching of entire documents or large sections of documents. It also contains a language for functional and imperative programming. It is written in C and takes the form of a utility that is portable to Unix-like platforms and Windows.

DiffImg is a simple image comparison tool which takes two RGB images with the same size as input. Some statitics are computed, and the positions at which pixels differ are displayed as a color mask.

PAGI is a PHP AGI (Asterisk Gateway Interface) facade with CDR (Call Detail Record), call spool and schedule auto dial, send and receive Fax, channel variables, and caller ID management.

Exponent CMS is a content management system for Web sites. It allows site owners to easily create and manage dynamic Web sites without necessarily directly coding Web pages or managing site navigation. Exponent uses an intuitive and flexible content editing system that allows Web pages to be edited on the page as it is displayed. This avoids the need for more back-end administration or for navigating many administration pages to add a simple line of text. You can simply visit the page you need to edit as if you were a site visitor, and make the change.

Cego implements a relational and transactional database system with support for the SQL query language. The current release contains the most common database features for basic table manipulation and data retrieval. Indexes, foreign keys, views, and stored procedures are also implemented. Future releases (2.0 and above) will support a multi-node database concept with log file shipping for an automatic database application failover.

samhain is a daemon that can check file integrity, search the file tree for SUID files, and detect kernel module rootkits (Linux only). It can be used either standalone or as a client/server system for centralized monitoring, with strong (192-bit AES) encryption for client/server connections and the option to store databases and configuration files on the server. For tamper resistance, it supports signed database/configuration files and signed reports/audit logs. It has been tested on Linux, FreeBSD, Solaris, AIX, HP-UX, and Unixware.

Release Notes: This version has a working editor for the CA system, including a form-based editor for some of the configuration factories. The project "Dakara" contains the new visualization features, and the application "OSVI" bundles this to a read to run application that only requires the configuration to be installed using the Eclipse P2 update system. For Windows, a specific "ready to run" MSI driver package has been added. The arduino protocol was enhanced and cleaned up. Many bugfixes, performance enhancements, and cleanups have been made.
4tH is a Forth compiler with a little difference. Instead of the standard Forth engine it features a conventional compiler. 4tH is a very small compiler that can create bytecode, C-embeddable bytecode, standalone executables, but also works fine as a scripting language. It supports about 95% of the ANS Forth CORE wordset and features conditional compilation, pipes, files, assertions, forward declarations, enumerations, structures, suspended execution, recursion, include files, etc. It comes with an RPN calculator, line editor, preprocessor, compiler, decompiler, C-source generator, a virtual machine, and a multitasking environment.
Release Notes: The library files now support stem-leaf plots, finite difference, compass boxing, HTML and XML character entities, Hamming (7,4) codes, Base64 conversion, FEXPM1, and FLNP1. Preprocessor macros can be undefined with the 'SCRAP:' keyword, and simple flow control was added. PAD size is increased to 768 characters to make pictured numeric output 64-bit compliant. SmartGit/Hg is a graphical user interface for Git and Mercurial which can work with SVN repositories. It supports cloning from common repository providers (e.g., GitHub, Assembla), assists Git newbies, and also offers the advanced, powerful Git features. It provides several tools to help create clean commits, for example by allowing the user to commit just parts of changes files and reordering and squashing unpushed commits. If you are using GitHub or GitHub Enterprise, SmartGit/Hg can work easily with pull requests (creation, resolving) and commit comments. Burp is a program that backs up and restores data. It uses librsync in order to save on the amount of space that is used by each backup. It also uses VSS (Volume Shadow Copy Service) to make snapshots when backing up Windows computers.

The ability for conf files to point to more conf files to read was added. The ability for the server to set includes/excludes was added. The ability for the server to initiate a restore was added. Evince is a document viewer for multiple document formats, such as PostScript, PDF, single page and multi-page TIFF, DVI, DjVu, and others. It features page thumbnails, printing via the GNOME or GTK+ printing frameworks, and searching within the documents. It supports the displaying of PDF indexes, the displaying and editing of PDF annotations, and the viewing of encrypted PDF documents.
Release Notes: New keyboard shortcuts have been introduced for navigating to the previous and next "find" matches. A "Send To" action has been added to the file menu and the toolbar. The "--named-dest" commandline option has been implemented, adding spawn and DBus support for named destinations. A setting to disable auto-reloading has been introduced.
