PdfMasher is a tool to convert PDF files containing text into a ready-for-ebook set of HTML files. Most ebook readers support PDF files natively, but it's often a real pain to read those documents because you can't control the font size of the document and have to resort to the zooming feature instead. Another drawback of PDFs on ebook readers is that annotations are not supported. Unlike other tools that convert PDFs to ebooks, PdfMasher does not try to guess the role of each piece of text in the PDF, and instead asks the user about the role of each piece of text, and does so in an efficient manner.
Release Notes: Bugs preventing some PDFs from being read were fixed. A bug making TOC and footnotes in MOBI link to wrong locations was fixed.
naken430asm provides a development kit for the Texas Instruments MSP430 line of microcontrollers. It currently includes a cross-platform command-line assembler, disassembler, and simulator with no external dependencies.

Release Notes: The MOBIB transport card support was extended with better event log parsing, including metro and bus station names. Preliminary GSM SIM card support was added. Prelininary Mifare card support was added (and tested with the Thalys card). A critical bug was corrected in the e-passport script. Many tweaks, bug corrections, and enhancements were made. The Windows version was improved.
Ping Tunnel is a tool for reliably tunneling TCP connections over ICMP echo request and reply packets (commonly known as ping requests and replies). It is useful for evading firewalls that, for whatever reason, prevent outgoing TCP connections, but allow in- and outgoing ICMP packets. The tunnel works by having a proxy run on a machine ping-able from the inside of the firewall, with the client running on the local machine from which TCP access is required.
Release Notes: This release fixes an authentication bug that would manifest as hung connections with protocols that send data from the client side before receiving data from the server side. The release further fixes a crash when attempting to enable packet capture for non-existing network devices. Various security features were incorporated. SELinux support was added.

Its own event-driven state machine achieves 100,000 connections per second and surpasses GigaEthernet on modern hardware, even with tens of thousands of simultaneous connections.
Release Notes: White space past the end of header values was not ignored, causing a space-padded content-length header to be rejected as invalid. A few minor improvements were made. The halog tool was improved to support more filtering criteria and to be noticeably faster. There is no need to upgrade for already running setups.
Python is an interpreted, interactive, object-oriented programming language. It combines remarkable power with very clear syntax, and isn't difficult to learn. It has modules, classes, exceptions, very high level data types, and dynamic typing. There are interfaces to many system calls and libraries, as well as to various windowing systems (Tk, Mac, MFC, GTK+, Qt, wxWindows). New built-in modules are easily written in C or C++. Python is also usable as an extension language for applications that need a programmable interface.
Release Notes: This release mainly fixes a regression with the urllib.request module that prevented opening many HTTP resources correctly.
G4L is a hard disk and partition imaging and cloning tool. The created images are optionally compressed, and they can be stored on a local hard drive or transferred to an anonymous FTP server. A drive can be cloned using the "Click'n'Clone" function. G4L supports file splitting if the local filesystem does not support writing files larger than 2GB. The included kernel supports ATA, serial-ATA, and SCSI drives. Common network cards are supported. It is packaged as a bootable CD image with an ncurses GUI for easy use.

MUSCLE (Multi User Server Client Linking Environment) is an N-way messaging server and networking API. It includes client-side networking APIs for various languages, including C, C++, C#, Delphi, Java, and Python. MUSCLE lets programs communicate over a network via streams of serialized Message objects. The included server program ("muscled") lets its clients message each other and store information in its server-side hierarchical database. The database supports flexible queries via hierarchical wildcarding, and "live" updates via a subscription mechanism.
Release Notes: This version adds a new Qt-based build of muscled (qt_muscled), enhances the qt_example application, and improves MingW compiler compatibility. It also adds a handful of minor new API features, such as an IsSymLink() method in the FilePathInfo class, the ability to set the stack size of spawned Threads, and an InsertItemAtSortedPosition() method in the Queue class. Finally, this version modifies the DataNode class to store its index as a Queue of DataNodeRef objects rather than a Queue of pointers-to-String, to avoid any potential dangling-pointer issues.
jHepWork (jWork) is an environment for scientific computation, data analysis, and data visualization for scientists, engineers, and students. The program is fully multi-platform (written in Java). The program can be used to display data and functions in D and 3D. It comes with a friendly IDE and a code assist.
Release Notes: This release is ready for Java7.
django-easymode lets you create backends for dynamic Flash/Flex Web sites. Easymode makes internationalization simple and outputs XML by default. To tailor the XML to your application, you can transform it using XSLT templates, which easymode integrates.
Release Notes: Easymode is moving towards the 1.0 release, which has caused some very drastic changes; you cannot simply update and run an existing application on this release. The names of localized table columns are constructed differently now. Upgrading means migrating all your column names. Easypublisher was removed, because it was too hard to maintain. A new tree module was added, which uses real inlines. You can now hook into XML serialization and have custom serialization for both your models as your custom model fields.
