Download No website 02 Sep 22:05 Qpfcalc 1.1

Screenshot

The qpfcalc application is a Qt frontend for pfcalc, a CLI pipe friction calculator. It is similar to gpfcalc, the GTK+ frontend for pfcalc. There are two versions of qpfcalc, one for Windows and one for Linux. The Linux version should be easy to compile and run on any Unix-like operating system with few minor modifications. For the application to function properly the pfcalc backend must be installed. For the Windows version, this is not needed as qpfcalc is distributed along with all the files needed to run, including pfcalc and Qt libraries.

Release Notes: This release implements import/export from open document format spreadsheet files (ods files). It adds support for a new XML-based file format: pipe friction calculation (pfc). It implements water as a default built-in fluid. Instead of passing "default" to pfcalc, a temporary file containing water definition is passed. It adds a way for users to associate a description with a calculation. More icons have been added to the toolbar. Print support has been added. Help has been updated. Code has been rewritten.

Download Website 02 Sep 22:04 fwsnort 1.6.1

Screenshot

fwsnort translates snort rules into an equivalent iptables ruleset. By making use of the iptables string match module, fwsnort can detect application layer signatures which exist in many snort rules. fwsnort adds a --hex-string option to iptables, which allows snort rules that contain hex characters to be input directly into iptables rulesets without modification. In addition, fwsnort makes use of the IPTables::Parse Perl module in order to (optionally) restrict the snort rule translation to only those rules that specify traffic that could potentially be allowed through an existing iptables policy.

Release Notes: A bugfix for the 'Couldn't load target' error seen on some Linux systems. A bugfix for interpreting pattern ordering in Snort rules with relative pattern matches. Updated to the latest Emerging Threats rule set.

Download No website 02 Sep 05:34 wsrep patch for MySQL 0.8.2

Screenshot

wsrep-enabled MySQL (previously MySQL/Galera cluster) can use wsrep replication providers, such as Galera, to form a cluster. wsrep API is an abstract replication interface that supports global transaction ID, true multi-master capability, conflict detection and resolution, and parallel applying and is transparent to triggers, stored procedures, and functions by replicating only final transaction results. Only the InnoDB storage engine and DDL commands are supported by this patch.

Release Notes: SSL support and an arbitrator daemon were added. Old bugs that were fixed include an integer overflow on 32-bit platforms with dumps larger than 2Gb, a crash on group remerge under certain circumstances, failure of rsync SST when the MySQL data directory on the donor node contains files readable only by root, and omission of SSL support in the build of mysqld. Built-in InnoDB is no longer supported. The InnoDB plugin is loaded by default.

No download Website 02 Sep 05:01 MyMediaLite 1.05

Screenshot

MyMediaLite is a lightweight, multi-purpose library of recommender system algorithms. It addresses the two most common scenarios in collaborative filtering: rating prediction (e.g. on a scale of 1 to 5 stars), and item prediction from implicit feedback (e.g. from clicks or purchase actions). It contains dozens of recommender engines, including state-of-the-art matrix factorization methods. It also supports real-time updates to the recommender engines, storing engines to disk and reloading them again, and several evaluation measures to compare the accuracy of different recommender system methods. Three command-line programs that offer most of the functionality contained in the library are included.

Release Notes: API changes were made. In ISplit, IList is used instead of List for Train and Test, and NumberOfFolds is now a uint instead of an int. In Eval.Ratings and Eval.Items, DisplayResults was replaced by FormatResults. Recommendations for groups were added. New recommenders include WeightedBPRMF (which is used for KDD Cup 2011, track 2), and SoftMarginRankingMF (an item recommender inspired both by CofiRank, ranking loss, and BPR-MF, stochastic gradient descent learning). Numerous improvements were made in the documentation, command-line tools, and helper scripts.
