The sysstat package contains the sar, sadf, iostat, nfsiostat, cifsiostat, mpstat, and pidstat commands for Linux. The sar command collects and reports system activity information. The statistics reported by sar concern I/O transfer rates, paging activity, process-related activites, interrupts, network activity, memory and swap space utilization, CPU utilization, kernel activities, and TTY statistics, among others. The sadf command may be used to display data collected by sar in various formats. The iostat command reports CPU statistics and I/O statistics for tty devices and disks. The pidstat command reports statistics for Linux processes. The mpstat command reports global and per-processor statistics. The nfsiostat command reports I/O statistics for network filesystems. The cifsiostat command reports I/O statistics for CIFS filesystems.
Release Notes: sadf has been modified to make it easier to add new report formats. The option "-P ON" has been added to mpstat, which tells mpstat to display stats only for online CPUs. pidstat displayed null statistics for processes that had terminated; this is now fixed.

OfficeFloor provides true inversion of control for building simple static to complex real-time Web applications that are "build once, run anywhere" - even with cloud computing. It allows you to wire together a working prototype in minutes, extend the prototype to a working Web site in hours, and deploy and run anywhere. The code is self documenting to make support easier. It aims to be "The Java Web Answer" for rapid application development for Web applications.
Release Notes: Comet (AJAX push / reverse AJAX) functionality was added for the GWT client - OfficeFloorComet API. The client functionality is supported on the server side by a simple publish API that encapsulates a highly scalable threading implementation. Applications built will not need to deal with the complexities of Comet, as on the server side is a simple publish API, while on the client side only a consumer POJO implementation is required.

Card Stories provides a server for a networked guessing game using picture cards. One player (the "author") starts the game by choosing a card, picking a word or a sentence to describe it, and sending out invitations to others to participate. Each of these players receives seven cards and has to pick one that best matches the author's description. Once enough players have chosen a card, the author displays all chosen cards and the players try to figure out which one is the author's. If at least one but not all of them guesses correctly, the author wins, along with the players who guessed correctly. Otherwise, the guessers all win.
