Check_MK is a complex addon for Nagios/Icinga and consists of three subprojects. The check and inventory system Check_MK is a general purpose Nagios plugin for retrieving data. It adopts a new approach for collecting data and obsoletes NRPE, check_by_ssh, NSClient, and check_snmp. It features a significant reduction of CPU use on the Nagios host and automatic inventory of items to be checked, and is especially useful with larger Nagios installations. "MK Livestatus" gives immediate and fast access to live and historic Nagios status data. It's a supported backend for many addons including NagVis, NagiosBP, and Thruk. "Check_MK Multisite" is a feature complete replacement for the Nagios GUI, and uses MK Livestatus as a backend. It is very fast, and supports efficient distributed monitoring.

Lua OS combines a full-featured desktop Linux system with a next-generation scripting environment based on a variant of Lua. The next-generation architecture enables features such as full-system hibernation, logging, replayability, mobility, and flexible security management.
Release Notes: This release allows writing actual Swing applications in Lua. It features: new Swing elements (lists, buttons, and layout); transparent method calls between sandboxes; transparent method calls from Lua to Java; and callbacks from Java to Lua (e.g. for building Swing listeners in Lua). Milk is a machine learning toolkit in Python. Its focus is on supervised classification with several classifiers available: SVMs (based on libsvm), k-NN, random forests, and decision trees. It also performs feature selection. These classifiers can be combined in many ways to form different classification systems. For unsupervised learning, milk supports k-means clustering and affinity propagation.

phpMyAdmin is a tool intended to handle the administration of MySQL over the Web. It can create, rename, and drop databases, create/drop/alter tables, delete/edit/add fields, execute any SQL statement, manage keys on fields, create dumps of tables and databases, export/import CSV data, and administrate one single database and multiple MySQL servers.
Release Notes: A problem with an invalid escape sequence in the SQL parser was fixed.
The goal of Cheix USB is a Linux image executing from a USB storage device into a running OS, either Linux or Windows, so that the host machine does not have to support booting from the USB device. The root filesystem and boot partitions are read-only to preserve the USB device. All writes are done in a tmpfs. The only writes to the USB storage device are those explicitly made by the user. Cheix's ISO can currently be used to create either a bootable USB or a hard-drive installation.
Release Notes: Minor changes were made to the INSTALL file. Because the project Web site is getting hits from Google Translate, the INSTALL file is now posted on the Web for the convenience of non-English users.

Malheur is a tool for the automatic analysis of malware behavior (program behavior recorded from malicious software in a sandbox environment). It is designed to support the regular analysis of malicious software and the development of detection and defense measures. It allows for identifying novel classes of malware with similar behavior and assigning unknown malware to discovered classes. It can be applied to recorded program behavior of various formats as long as monitored events are separated by delimiter symbols, e.g. as in reports generated by the popular malware sandboxes CWSandbox, Anubis, Norman Sandbox, and Joebox.

LaserCalc is a tool to calculate optical paths and resonators based on Gaussian beam matrix optics. Optical elements such as lenses or distances can be set up to an optical path. An input beam parameter (z & w value) as well as the wavelength can be set. The programm calculates the propagation of the beam along the path. For an optical resonator, the TEM00 Eigenmode of a given wavelength is automatically calculated. Furthermore, a stability parameter is derived.

chan-sccp-b is an extension of the original chan-sccp implementation for the Asterisk soft-PBX. It lets you hook up a Cisco/SCCP Phone to your Asterisk server using the SCCP protocol, which works a lot better than the SIP firmware on the same phone. It provides full phone functionality instead of just a simple SIP channel provider. The symbolic math application with a simple command-line interface is designed to be a colorful algebra calculator that is reliable, responsive, and convenient to use. Clonezilla is a partition or disk cloning tool similar to Symantec Ghost. It saves and restores only blocks in use on the hard drive if the file system is supported. For unsupported file systems, dd is used instead. It has been used to clone a 5 GB system to 40 clients in about 10 minutes.
