It automatically locates local drives, USB drives, and network-shared drives to make backup storage and retrieval as simple as possible for anyone. It is multi-lingual and contains the unstable branch of Gentoo (x86 and amd64).

Release Notes: A new branch "LITE" was added. It contains Kernel 2.6.39-gentoo-r3 and XFCE 4.8.0. All huge packages have been removed or replaced. Midori 0.4.0 is the Web browser, and Claws-Mail 3.7.9 the mail client. Abiword 2.8.6, Thunar 1.2.2, XFBurn 0.4.3, Leafpad 0.8.18.1, Xarchiver 0.5.2, Parole 0.2.0.6, and Mirage 0.9.5.2 are all on board.

MSCP (Media Server Control Panel) is a management interface for Icecast2 with comprehensive functionality. An administrator can create users and then edit access rights, set the number of listener slots, enable or disable AutoDJ, etc. Users may change several parameters of the Icecast2 server and the AutoDJ via a Web-based interface. Audio compression formats supported by the AutoDJ are MP3, Ogg Vorbis, and FLAC. MSCP does not require an SQL server and runs on an independent Web server. It also sets Icecast2 to Shoutcast-compatible mode.

Release Notes: Stream transcoding is supported. The input formats can be MP3, OGG, or AAC+. The output formats can be MP3 or OGG (stereo/mono). A stereo tool audio processor was added to the stream transcoder. (This requires SSE2 support.) Minor changes were made in the Admin Page.

Release Notes: Potential misadressing in the property replacer was fixed. A memcpy overflow was fixed. This could occur in allowed sender checking if a name is resolved to an IPv4-mapped-on-IPv6 address. A MSGID corruption in the RFC5424 parser under some circumstances was fixed.

RemoteBox is a graphical tool which lets you administer guests or virtual machines running under VirtualBox on a remote server or even your local machine if desired. You may, for example, have a root server on the Internet, a server at home, or a server at work running VirtualBox but want to have the convenience of managing the guests easily from your local machine. The virtual machines run in headless mode, which means you don't need an active graphical display on the server but you can still connect and view the displays of the guests. The goal of RemoteBox is to provide a GUI that should be familiar to VirtualBox users while allowing them to administer a remote installation of VirtualBox. It does this via the VirtualBox API and SOAP interface, which are exposed when running the VirtualBox Web service. You can also use RemoteBox simply as an alternative interface for managing VirtualBox on your local machine.

Release Notes: This release primarily brings VirtualBox 4.1.X support to RemoteBox and drops support for earlier releases. In addition, a major bugfix was made with regards to editing guest settings as well as lesser bug fixes for deleting snapshots and browsing remote files. Diskless Remote Boot in Linux (DRBL) provides a diskless or systemless environment for client machines. It works on Debian, Mandriva, Red Hat, Fedora, and SuSE. Unlike LTSP, it uses distributed hardware resources and makes it possible for clients to fully access local hardware. It also includes Clonezilla, a partitioning and disk cloning utility similar to Symantec Ghost.
