Download Website 26 Jul 21:01 PdfMasher 0.3.0

Screenshot

PdfMasher is a tool to convert PDF files containing text into a ready-for-ebook set of HTML files. Most ebook readers support PDF files natively, but it's often a real pain to read those documents because you can't control the font size of the document and have to resort to the zooming feature instead. Another drawback of PDFs on ebook readers is that annotations are not supported. Unlike other tools that convert PDFs to ebooks, PdfMasher does not try to guess the role of each piece of text in the PDF, and instead asks the user about the role of each piece of text, and does so in an efficient manner.

Release Notes: This release adds a new flag: "To Fix". It adds keyboard shortcuts for quickly flagging elements. It improves text layout detection in PDFs. It fixes bugs preventing some PDFs from being read.

Screenshot

v4l-utils is a collection of various video4linux (V4L) and DVB utilities. libv4l is an accompanying collection of libraries that adds a thin abstraction layer on top of video4linux2 (V4L2) devices. The purpose of this layer is to make it easy for application writers to support a wide variety of devices without having to write separate code for different devices in the same class. It consists of 3 different libraries. libv4lconvert offers functions to convert from any (known) pixel format to V4l2_PIX_FMT_BGR24 or V4l2_PIX_FMT_YUV420. libv4l1 offers the (deprecated) v4l1 API on top of v4l2 devices, independent of the drivers for those devices supporting v4l1 compatibility (which many v4l2 drivers do not). libv4l2 offers the v4l2 API on top of v4l2 devices, while adding support for the application transparent libv4lconvert conversion where necessary.

Download Website 26 Jul 20:51 Archipel beta 3.2

Screenshot

Archipel is a solution to manage and supervise virtual machines. No matter if you have a few locally on your computer or thousands through data centers, Archipel is a central solution to manage them all. You can use all libvirt-supported virtualization engines like KVM, Xen, OpenVZ, or VMWare. You can perform all basic virtualization commands and many other things like live migration, VMCasts, packages, etc. Archipel uses XMPP for all communication. There is no Web service or custom protocol. You just need at least one XMPP server, like eJabberd, to start playing with it. This allows Archipel to work completely in real time. You never have to refresh the user interface. You'll be notified as soon as something happens. You can even use your favorite chat clients to command your infrastructure. You can open a chat conversation with your virtual machine and say things like "How are you today?" or "Hey, please reboot."

Release Notes: This release gently handles the case where LPCrashReporter is active. If for some reason Archipel is unable to parse the stored XMPP preferences, this release will ask to reset them instead of crashing. Controls stay graphically in disabled mode. A problem drive having no sources has been fixed. An issue that prevented double-clicking on the drives in some part of the data view has been fixed. A bug preventing users from being displayed if they continued to use XML-RPC API mode has been fixed.

Download No website 26 Jul 14:02 odb 1.5.0

Screenshot

ODB is a compiler-based object-relational mapping (ORM) system for C++. It allows you to persist C++ objects to a relational database without having to deal with tables, columns, or SQL and without manually writing any mapping code. The C++ code that performs the conversion between persistent classes and their database representation is automatically generated by the ODB compiler. The ODB compiler is a real C++ compiler except that instead of producing assembly or machine code, it generates portable C++, which can in turn be compiled by any C++ compiler. ODB is not a framework. It does not dictate how you should write your application. Rather, it is designed to fit into your style and architecture by only handling C++ object persistence and not interfering with any other functionality.

Release Notes: Major new features in this release are support for PostgreSQL, including updates to the Boost and Qt profiles, support for per-class database operations callbacks, a new NULL handling mechanism, as well as the ability to specify database default values and additional column definition options.
