LDAP Account Manager (LAM) is a web frontend for managing entries (e.g. users, groups, DHCP settings) stored in an LDAP directory. LAM was designed to make LDAP management as easy as possible for the user. It abstracts from the technical details of LDAP and allows persons without technical background to manage LDAP entries. If needed, power users may still directly edit LDAP entries via the integrated LDAP browser.
Release Notes: The General Information module shows internal data about LDAP entries, and LAM is now able to manage LDAP quota entries (Linux Disk Quota). Home directories may be created/deleted for existing accounts. The server information includes data from cn=monitor. LAM Pro users can create automount maps and use ppolicy to lock accounts. This is a test release; please do not install it in your production environment.

Spack is a standalone package manager with its own CPIO-based package format but aiming to keep total compatibility with Slackware Linux. Written in POSIX shell as much as it makes sense, it attempts to provide a fairly complete toolkit to build, install, remove, list, retrieve, and arrange your packages. It can be used as an alternative to Slackware's pkgtools, just to independently and properly manage your local software on any distribution, or as the main package manager of the distribution you build yourself.
Release Notes: This release replaces the "fmt" command used in spackdesc by POSIX awk, provides a better UI for this command, and make it generate totally Slackware-like output. It also more properly centralizes the spack-related configuration files into the "<sysconfdir>/spack" sub-directory.
Qtractor is an Audio/MIDI multi-track sequencer application. The initial target platform is Linux, using the infrastructure of the Jack Audio Connection Kit (JACK) for audio and the Advanced Linux Sound Architecture (ALSA) for MIDI. It is meant to be a fairly-featured Linux desktop audio workstation GUI, specially dedicated to the personal home studio.
Release Notes: This release marks the entrance into TYOQA age (The Year Of Qtractor Automation): audio/MIDI track and plugin parameter automation has been finally implemented. MIDI controller catch-up behavior is now featured. All zooming-in/out is now relative to views center. Audio gain and panning changes are now audibly smoothed. There are many other fixes and small improvements.

The massXpert software package is a mass spectrometry environment for linear (bio-)polymers. It inherits all the innovations of GNU polyxmass. It allows the detailed definition of new polymer chemistries in the XpertDef module. These chemistry definitions are then used in the desktop calculator-like mass calculator (XpertCalc) and in the sophisticated polymer sequence editor and (bio-)chemical/mass spectrometric simulations module (XpertEdit). Available simulations include polymer and monomer chemical modifications, polymer sequence cleavage, gas-phase fragmentation, m/z ratio calculations, and more.

PowerDNS Authoritative Server is a high-performance authoritative nameserver with a host of backends. Besides plain BIND configuration files, PDNS reads information from MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQLite, MongoDB, and many other databases. Backends can easily be written in any language, and a sample Perl backend is provided. PDNS powers around 30-40% of all domain names in many parts of the world, including >90% of all DNSSEC domains in Europe.
Release Notes: This version brings full support for DNSSEC, with automated signing, rollovers, and key maintenance. The goal is to allow existing PowerDNS installations to start serving DNSSEC with as little hassle as possible, while maintaining performance and achieving high levels of security. Other new features include TSIG, a MyDNS-compat backend, also-notify, master/slave over IPv6, a bulk parallel slaving engine, MongoDB support, and Lua zone editing.
Mount-gtk is a front end for udisks and mount. It provides a means of mounting devices with udisks through a graphical interface. It is intended for use whenever automounting facilities are not desired or are not effective. It is built as a single-instance program: if the user attempts to start it when another instance of it is already running, the existing instance will be brought up on the current desktop. It will therefore not usually be necessary to mark it as displayable on all desktops.
Release Notes: libnotify >= 0.7.1 is now supported. There is now a hard dependency on the c++-gtk-utils library. Other minor improvements have been made.
Wildlife Stock Monitor is a grid-based GIS system for inventorying biotopes.

You can also create an unlimited number of drones and sculpt their waveforms. It uses JACK to output audio, and supports MIDI, OSC and IRC bot for input. din can be extended and customized with Tcl scripts.
Release Notes: A crash on some some Intel and ATI OpenGL cards was fixed.
GNU parallel is a shell tool for executing jobs in parallel locally or using remote computers. A job is typically a single command or a small script that has to be run for each of the lines in the input. The typical input is a list of files, a list of hosts, a list of users, a list of URLs, or a list of tables. If you use xargs today you will find GNU parallel very easy to use, as GNU parallel is written to have the same options as xargs. If you write loops in shell, you will find GNU parallel may be able to replace most of the loops and make them run faster by running several jobs in parallel. GNU parallel makes sure output from the commands is the same output as you would get had you run the commands sequentially. This makes it possible to use output from GNU parallel as input for other programs.
Release Notes: The --hard option of niceload will suspend a program if a limit is reached, while --soft will slow the program down, and --run-io will slow down a program if disk IO goes above a certain limit. --run-load will slow down a program if loadaverage goes above a certain limit. --run-mem will slow down a program if free memory goes below a certain limit. --run-noswap will slow down a program if the computer is swapping. --start-io, --start-load, --start-mem, and --start-noswap will defer starting a program until the system is below the limit. --io, --load, --mem, and --noswap sets both --run-* and --start-*.
Release Notes: This is a maintenance release.
Armadillo is a C++ linear algebra library (matrix maths) aiming towards a good balance between speed and ease of use. The API is deliberately similar to Matlab's. Integer, floating point, and complex numbers are supported, as well as a subset of trigonometric and statistics functions. Various matrix decompositions are provided through optional integration with LAPACK and ATLAS numerics libraries. A delayed evaluation approach, based on template meta-programming, is used (during compile time) to combine several operations into one and reduce or eliminate the need for temporaries.
Release Notes: This release contains speedups and adds economy sized singular value decomposition.
