Download Website 15 Jul 22:45 PdfMasher 0.2.1

PdfMasher is a tool to convert PDF files containing text into a ready-for-ebook set of HTML files. Most ebook readers support PDF files natively, but it's often a real pain to read those documents because you can't control the font size of the document and have to resort to the zooming feature instead. Another drawback of PDFs on ebook readers is that annotations are not supported. Unlike other tools that convert PDFs to ebooks, PdfMasher does not try to guess the role of each piece of text in the PDF, and instead asks the user about the role of each piece of text, and does so in an efficient manner.

No download Website 15 Jul 22:43 sslh 1.8

sslh accepts connections in HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, OpenVPN, tinc, XMPP, or any other protocol that can be tested using a regular expression, on the same port. This makes it possible to connect to any of these servers on port 443 (e.g. from inside corporate firewalls, which almost never block port 443) while still serving HTTPS on that port. sslh supports IPv6, privilege dropping, transparent proxying, and much more.

Release Notes: This release adds a single-threaded, select(2)-based version. It adds -o "OpenVPN" and OpenVPN probing and support. It adds support for "Bold" SSH clients (clients that speak first, e.g. ConnectBot). The log format has been changed to make it possible to link connections to subsequent logs from other services. Use with proxytunnel and corkscrew is documented in the README.

It also removes the printer groups feature, as there is no prospect of it being used in the GTK+ print dialog. The udev-configure-printer utility now has the ability to enumerate the attached devices, and to do this as a systemd service instead of from the CUPS init script.

Normalization of FLAC, MP3, OGG, and WAV files is possible, either as separate tracks or as a whole album. The shell looks for the configuration file cdwrite.conf in the standard /etc directory instead of the non-standard /usr/etc one. The new variable mp3_normalization is added to the configuration file.
