Turious is a cross-platform turn-based strategy game. It features dynamically generated maps, AIs that can be used with both online multi-player and single player modes, and 6 classes of civilian and military units. It uses the Rosethorn Game Library.
Release Notes: Several bugs were fixed, including a stack overflow in the client. The gameplay was switched to be purely realtime. More unit types were added, as well as base XP and resource tracking. Changes were made to the map format to reduce network data size. Major work was done on the Win32 code, so the game is now playable on Windows. Several UI updates were made.
Remote Launcher is an easy to use tool that enables you to launch applications remotely on your PC via your Android device with a single click. It can also be used to start your PC up, even if it is turned off, with the built in support for Wake On LAN. It consists of an Android app and a small server program for your PC. You can configure Remote Launcher to start any application on your PC. For example, it can start your mediacenter, shutdown or restart the computer, or run a custom script.

CryptNET Passgen (passgen) is a password generator. It generates a list of password candidates for the user to choose from by mapping operating system sources of pseudo-randomness into printable character arrays using a mod operation. A number of available command line options gives it a great deal of flexibility. It is capable of generating passwords composed of printable characters, alphanumeric characters, alphabetic characters, or only numeric characters.
Release Notes: Support was added for homoglyph suppression, forcing all uppercase alphabetic characters, and forcing all lowercase alphabetic characters.
NomNom is an application for downloading videos from Youtube and similar video sites that require Adobe Flash. Streaming or downloading can be started by dropping a URL onto the application window.

cclive is a lightweight commandline video extraction tool for Youtube and similar video Web sites. It is a rewrite of the clive software in C++ with a smaller system footprint and fewer dependencies. It is primarily a "video download tool", but can be used with video player software like "mplayer" for viewing streamed videos in place of the Adobe flash player.

ciopfs (case insensitive on purpose file system) is a stackable or overlay Linux userspace file system (implemented with FUSE) which mounts a normal directory on a regular file system in a case-insensitive fashion.

JSONBOT is a remote event-driven framework for building bots that talk JSON to each other over XMPP. This distribution provides bots built on the JSONBOT framework for console, IRC, XMPP for the shell and WWW, and XMPP for the Google App Engine. A plugin infrastructure can be used to write your own functionality.

The Java Algebra System (JAS) is an object oriented, type safe, multi-threaded approach to computer algebra. JAS provides a well designed software library using generic types for algebraic computations implemented in the Java programming language. The library can be used as any other Java software package, or it can be used interactively or interpreted through a Jython or JRuby front end. The focus at the moment is on commutative and solvable polynomials, power-series, multivariate polynomial factorization, Gröbner bases, and applications.
Release Notes: Experimental ideal complex root computation was added in the complexAlgebraicRoots() method in the PolyUtilApp class. Simple isolating interval refinement for real and complex roots was implemented. Alternative factoring of univariate polynomials over algebraic number fields via prime ideal decomposition was added in the FactorAlgebraicPrim class. Parsing of complex numbers was improved. Term orders are forced in some situations. Further small improvements and fixes were made.
kreslitko is a simple environment for drawing graphics in X. Its main aim is to allow writing sequential code in C++ and it performs all event handling operations. It is also able to control running of your program by pressing buttons and filling text entries; it allows you to save drawings in xpm, png, and PostScript format.
Release Notes: It's now possible to hide the whole kreslitko. Vieport messages were added. The set_points function works for rectangles too. Buttons can be enabled and disabled. A polygon item was added.
BlockHosts is a script to record how many times a local system is attacked, based on configurable scanning of system logs for sshd or other services. When a particular IP address exceeds a configured number of failed login attempts, that IP address is blocked using hosts.allow files, or by using null-routing, or by using packet filtering. An email notification facility is also available.
Release Notes: This release fixed a failure to read time values on certain systems that occurred because Python strptime could not read times written by strftime on the same system. The solution was to remove the use of strptime from blockhosts.py.
DocBook Doclet is a javadoc doclet that creates DocBook XML and UML class diagrams from Javadoc.
Release Notes: Generation of EPUB files was fixed, and images can now be embedded into the EPUB zip archive. Generation of JavaHelp was fixed. Relative referenced image files are incorporated into the base directory of HTML, JavaHelp and Eclipse Help. RTF and man pages are now supported. The generate.toc parameter is now supported, and the generation of ToC/LoTs is now configured using a special dialog. Customization files are now versioned. An upgrade was made to fop 1.0 and docbook-xsl 1.76.1. Support for Java 5 was discontinued.
H2 is an SQL database engine written in Java that implements the JDBC API. Embedded, server, and clustering modes are available. A browser based console application is included. The database has strong security features. Disk based and in-memory databases and tables are supported.

Asymptote is a powerful descriptive 2D and 3D vector graphics language for technical drawing, inspired by MetaPost but with an improved C++-like syntax. It provides for figures the same high-quality level of typesetting that LaTeX does for scientific text. Asymptote is a programming language as opposed to just a graphics program. It can exploit the best features of script (command-driven) and graphical user interface (GUI) methods. High-level graphics commands are implemented in the language itself, allowing them to be easily tailored to specific applications.
Release Notes: A new off-screen (software) 3D rendering option supports rendering on machines that are remote or lack a working video graphics card. Shifted pens now work correctly. The handling of whitespace in word mode file reads was fixed. A transpose argument was added to the pen function image facility, for consistency with the other image functions. The limit calculation of parabola and hyperbola was fixed in the geometry module.
Rodent applications (previously Xffm Code Set) is a set of GTK2/GTK3 applications which use librfm and which avoid reinventing the wheel by using interprocess communication with command line applications. Current applications are: Rodent Filemanager (rodent-fm); Rodent Differences (rodent-diff); Rodent Search Tool (rodent-fgr); a command line search tool (fgr); and an icon theme manager (rodent-iconmgr).

Clonezilla is a partition or disk cloning tool similar to Symantec Ghost. It saves and restores only blocks in use on the hard drive if the file system is supported. For unsupported file systems, dd is used instead. It has been used to clone a 5 GB system to 40 clients in about 10 minutes.

Stabie Rand Editor is a reimplementation of the RAND text editor, a full screen editor that was written in the 70s and had such advanced capabilities as multiple windows and rectangular cut and paste areas. Keyboard commands are hard-coded.

quvi is a commandline tool for parsing video download links. It supports YouTube and other similar video Web sites. libquvi is a library for parsing video download links with a C API. It is written in C and intended to be a cross-platform library.

DoudouLinux is a system specially designed for children 2 years and up. It is available as Live CDs and USB keys as well as ARM images. The main goals are to be as easy to use as a game console, provide as many kid-oriented applications as possible (currently around 50), drive small children into mastering computer use from age 2, be natively in child-friendly language without any action, be simple for Dad and Mom too (no administration, no updates; it’s a read-only system). It includes Web content filtering.
Release Notes: This is the first official, stable release. It is available in 15 languages, using 5 different alphabets, as a LiveCD image or for USB media. The main improvements are two new applications, Songwrite and Stopmotion, start-up and shutdown graphics and music, songs for children and pieces of classical music (MIDI files), and better hardware support, particularly for networking and WiFi devices.

Java Gearman Service is a Java implementation of the gearman service, which provides a generic application framework that farms work out to other machines or processes that are better suited to do the work. It allows you to do work in parallel, to load balance processing, and to call functions in other languages. It can be used in a variety of applications, from high-availability Web sites to the transport of database replication events.
Release Notes: Exceptions due to class renames in recent Java 7 builds were fixed. An issue with packets over 1KB in size were fixed. Some spelling mistakes were corrected.
