Cego implements a relational and transactional database system with support for the SQL query language. GNU VCDImager is a program for making Video CD (and Super Video CD, a.k.a. SVCD) images out of MPEG movie files. The images it creates are ready to use with programs which understand BIN/CUE images, such as cdrdao. GNU VCDRip allows for reversing the process, ripping mpeg tracks from (Super) Video CDs.
Release Notes: Buffer overflow protection was improved. A memory exhaustion with VCD 2.0 disks was fixed. A new API vcdinfo_get_track_last_lsn() was added, which is like cdinfo_get_track_last_lsn() but adjusts for 0-origin or non-MPEG ISO 9660 tracks. libvcdinfo can now be used from C++. Qccrypt is a very small graphical frontend for the ccrypt encryption/decryption commandline program. The file to encrypt/decrypt can be passed as a parameter on the commandline.
Release Notes: A progress bar was added. A result window was added. The folder encryption/decryption process was changed: now, Qccrypt scans all files and encrypts or decrypts each one, instead of using the ccrypt recursive encryption parameter (-r). As each operation is displayed in the result window, it's now easier to identify an error with encryption or decryption.

With MetaModel, you use a type-safe SQL-like API for querying any datastore. It is a data access framework providing a common interface for exploration and querying of different types of datastores. It isn't a data mapping framework. Buildroot is a set of Makefiles and patches that makes it easy to generate a complete embedded Linux system. It is useful mainly for people working with small or embedded systems using various CPU architectures (x86, ARM, MIPS, PowerPC, etc.).
