QOF (Query Object Framework), provides a set of C Language utilities for performing generic structured complex queries on a set of data held by a set of C/C++ objects. This framework is unique in that it does not require SQL or any database at all to perform the query. Thus, it allows programmers to add query support to their applications without having to hook into an SQL database.
Release Notes: A nuisance check with gcc-4.6 -Werror is ignored by removing some code but marking most as unused despite actually being used. The .la file was dropped from libqof-dev and jquery.js was dropped from doxygen output.

Bazaar is a simple decentralized revision control system. Decentralized revision control systems give users the ability to branch remote repositories to a local context. Users can commit to local branches without requiring special permission from the branches that they branched from.
Release Notes: This beta release is suitable for everyday use but may cause some incompatibilities with plugins. Some plugins may need small updates to work. All known bugfixes are included.
cutmp3 is a small command line MP3 editor. It lets you select sections of an MP3 interactively or via a timetable and save them to separate files without quality loss. Silence and ID3 tag searching are also possible. For playback it uses mpg123. The program works with VBR files and files bigger than 2GB. There is also a simple frontend for it, called xcutmp3.

Octave daemon is a network daemon for GNU Octave, implemented in PHP. The package also contains a PHP client for connecting to the daemon. Native PHP applications can also use the connector class to run ad hoc Octave instances, circumventing the daemon altogether (which can be useful for development or small projects).

With LinkChecker, you can check HTML documents and Web sites for broken links. It features recursion, robots.txt exclusion protocol support, HTTP proxy support, i18n support, multithreading, regular expression filtering rules for links, and user/password checking for authorized pages. Output can be colored or normal text, HTML, SQL, CSV, or a sitemap graph in DOT, GML, or XML format. Supported link types are HTTP/1.1 and 1.0, HTTPS, FTP, mailto:, news:, nntp:, Telnet, and local files.
Release Notes: The GUI reloads the configuration file immediately after changing. Redirections of URLs given by the user are handled automatically now.
XEO (eXtensible Enterprise Objects) is an agile development framework designed for creating Web applications built around Object Oriented concepts and Model Driven Development with Java. You model business entities (including their attributes and behavior) as XEO Models which are then processed by the framework's "Builder". This produces the application's supporting structures such as database tables (to persist data) and Java classes (providing object-relational mapping and behavior). Development is supported by an Eclipse plugin called XEOStudio.

Check_MK is a complex addon for Nagios/Icinga and consists of three subprojects. The check and inventory system Check_MK is a general purpose Nagios plugin for retrieving data. It adopts a new approach for collecting data and obsoletes NRPE, check_by_ssh, NSClient, and check_snmp. It features a significant reduction of CPU use on the Nagios host and automatic inventory of items to be checked, and is especially useful with larger Nagios installations. "MK Livestatus" gives immediate and fast access to live and historic Nagios status data. It's a supported backend for many addons including NagVis, NagiosBP, and Thruk. "Check_MK Multisite" is a feature complete replacement for the Nagios GUI, and uses MK Livestatus as a backend. It is very fast, and supports efficient distributed monitoring.

Jmx4Perl provides an alternate way of accessing Java JEE Server management interfaces that are based on JMX (Java Management Extensions). It is an agent-based approach where a small Web application deployed on the application server provides HTTP/JSON-based access to JMX MBeans registered within the application server. It is set up from a handful of Perl modules, which can be integrated seamlessly in your own programs. It also includes a Nagios plugin, check_jmx4perl, a jmx4perl command line tool for remote JMX queries and operations, and a readline-based JMX shell j4psh, with context sensitive command completion and syntax highlighting.

GRPN is a RPN calculator for the X Window system built using the GIMP Toolkit (GTK). GRPN works with real numbers, complex numbers, matrices, and complex matrices. Numbers can be displayed in 4 different radix modes, and complex numbers can be displayed in either Cartesian or polar form, in decimal or engineering notation.
Release Notes: Clipboard support was added, with Ctrl-C. The comma is no longer a separator in complex numbers. It has been replaced by ";" and ">", since it is used as a decimal separator in some locales. Debian sources and binaries are available.
Room Juice is a multi-user jukebox Web frontend. It supports programs such as madplay, mpg321, ogg123, mikmod, xmp, etc to play music. It's designed to be simple to use, understand, and hopefully, not too difficult to install. No SQL database is required.

The cptutils package contains a number of utilities for the manipulation of color gradients; mainly for translating between different formats. Formats supported include ggr (GIMP gradient), cpt (GMT color palette table), avl (Arcview Legend), lut (xmedcon), svg, and version 3 of the grd format.
Release Notes: This release adds a new program, svgcss3, which converts SVG gradients to CSS3 gradients.
Nuttx is a real-time embedded operating system (RTOS). It has a small footprint that is usable in micro-controller environments. It is fully scalable from tiny (8-bit) to moderate embedded (32-bit) systems. It also aims to be fully compliant to standards, to be fully real time, and to be totally open.
