Chips is a Python library for designing hardware devices that provides a high-level device modelling language. Native simulations integrate with Python so you can use Python extension modules such as Scipy, Numpy, Matplotlib, and PIL to provide a rich verification environment. Device models can be automatically translated into synthesizable VHDL, and highly optimized soft-processors are generated for an efficient implementation. A plugin mechanism is provided so that additional code generators can be added. C++ and Graphviz plugins are provided. Existing VHDL IP can be imported, and seamless co-simulation of C++ and VHDL outputs is is supported.

Remote Launcher is an easy-to-use tool that enables you to launch applications remotely on your PC via your Android device. It consists of an Android application (proprietary) and a small server program (GPLv2) for your PC. You can configure Remote Launcher to start any application on your PC with a single click on your Android device. For example, it can start your mediacenter, shutdown or restart the computer, or run a custom script. It has been tested on Ubuntu and Windows 7.
Release Notes: This release adds a file watcher for the config file so that changes made with an external editor are reflected without the need to restart the server. This is useful when running the server is in text mode only.
Miscellaneous Container Templates is a C++ library that provides a collection of various STL-like containers with specific properties. It currently contains six closely related containers: closed_hash_set, closed_hash_map, linked_hash_*, and forward_hash_*. The first two are very similar to TR1 unordered_set and unordered_map; the linked ones provide additional functionality, while forward hash tables are more performant than linked, but have a restricted interface.
Release Notes: This release makes linked and forward hash tables use up to 50% less memory on certain architectures, notably x86-64. Containers of different but compatible types can be directly compared for equality.
Freelords is a rewrite of the well-known Warlords II. It mainly resembles Warlords, but also extends the game, e.g. units have hit points and the save, and configuration files have an easy-to-read XML format.
Release Notes: The sound architecture has been rewritten, a 64-bit Linux version has been added, heroes can now join, random map generation has been (mostly) fixed, and there are various minor changes.
feh is a fast, lightweight image viewer that uses imlib2. It is command line-driven and supports multiple images through slideshows, thumbnail browsing or multiple windows, and montages or index prints using TrueType fonts to display file information. Advanced features include fast dynamic zooming, progressive loading, loading via HTTP (with reload support for watching webcams), recursive file opening (slideshow of a directory hierarchy), and mouse wheel and keyboard control.
Release Notes: This release fixes compilation with curl=0 and makes the zoom_default key work properly when using the --geometry option.
Opera is a full-featured Internet tool, most notably a fully standard conforming Web browser. The Model Railroad System is a software package that can help you run your railroad. It allows you to operate your layout, from running trains to working your signals and switches. It has support for a network of Bruce Chubb CMR/I USIC, SUSIC, and/or SMINI nodes, and/or a network of Lenz's XPressNet DCC nodes. Azatrax USB-connected Model Railroad Detectors are supported. Software to create switch lists for freight car forwarding and create timetables for your railroad are included. There is software to help with photographing your trains, and to compute the correct value for those pesky dropping resistors for LEDs and/or incandescent lamps.
Release Notes: This release fixes a problem with ReadStations that caused a segmentation fault when generating reports. It internationalizes the code. It updates the RPM spec file to include a vendor definition.
The lzlib compression library provides in-memory LZMA compression and decompression functions, including integrity checking of the decompressed data. The compressed data format used by the library is the lzip format. The lzip file format is designed for long-term data archiving. It is clean, provides very safe 4-factor integrity checking, and is backed by the recovery capabilities of lziprecover.
Release Notes: "make install" no longer tries to run "/sbin/ldconfig" on systems lacking it.
JFormDesigner is a professional GUI designer for Java Swing user interfaces. It supports JGoodies FormLayout, GroupLayout (Free Design), TableLayout, and GridBagLayout. It decreases the time you spend on hand coding forms.

svnauthcheck checks the syntax of a subversion authorization file and generates Apache-like permission specifications to be used by other tools such as ViewVC. svnauthcheck, in combination with subversion pre- and post-commit hooks, can be used to delegate the administration of a repository authorization to the end users.
Release Notes: The tool now checks for permission correctness.
Talend Open Studio for Data Quality helps you to profile your data. The ergonomic interface allows you to define metrics (indicators) and collect statistics on your data in a few clicks. It comes with a set of regular expressions that helps you to identify bad data. You can create your own regular expressions and use them in data profiling analyses. A lot of options exist for each indicator, which change the behavior of the indicator so that it gives you more pertinent information. Data quality options on indicators alert you when your data quality is not what you expected.

Talend Open Studio for Data Integration is an ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) tool. Talend Open Studio for Data Integration can perform jobs that range from datawarehouse feeding to database synchronization, as well as file format transformations. Its graphical interface is made with Eclipse RCP, and data related scripts are generated in Perl or Java. The application was designed to be extended with components written by users.

Jaspersoft Studio is a report designer for JasperReports. It is a full rewrite of iReport on top of the Eclipse platform. It allows you to create very sophisticated layouts containing charts, images, subreports, crosstabs, and much more. It can access your data through JDBC, TableModels, JavaBeans, XML, Hibernate, CSV, and custom sources. It can publish your reports as PDF, RTF, XML, XLS, CSV, HTML, XHTML, text, DOCX, or OpenOffice.

beaTunes is an iTunes companion app capable of automatically analyzing your music collection to help you build better playlists. It analyzes BPM (beats per minute), silence at the beginning or end of a song, and the color (based on frequency spectrum) of a given song. Some of the data is stored through iTunes, and some is stored by beaTunes itself. beaTunes can suggest albums that would complement your music collection, display music charts, and help you find and fix errors in your song meta data, like typos and wrong genres. It also allows you to blog about selected songs or playlists.

SmartCVS is a full-featured and still easy-to-use CVS client. It contains all needed tools out-of-the- box, so there is no need to install a file compare tool, CVS command line client, or SSH client. It is available in two versions: a free Foundation version and a commercial Professional version. The Professional version contains powerful features like a conflict solver, transaction view, tag browser (including tag/branch structure), and change report (multi-file compare).

SCCS is an implementation of the POSIX standard Source Code Control System. It is based on the original UNIX SCCS code provided by Sun as part of OpenSolaris and was made portable to other platforms.
Release Notes: The sccslog(1) command now implements a new option -a to control the way sccslog collects deltas with the same delta comment. The diff(1) command delivered with SCCS now outputs the correct time stamp format for unified diffs (-u) as required by POSIX. SCCS val now can check for non-monotone time stamps in SCCS history files, for missing user names in the delta table, and for a defective statictics line. SCCS admin and delta now support the option -o to use the time stamp of the original file.
Config::Model::TkUI provides a graphical interface to Config::Model. With this project, Config::Model, and a configuration model (like Config::Model::Xorg), a user gets a tool to edit configuration files. This configuration editing tool provides on-line help and validation of configuration data.
Release Notes: A search widget was added to search for configuration elements, values, or keywords in the documentation. In ListEditor, a bug that prevented you from pushing a null value was fixed. In LeafEditor, a fix button was added to fix warnings (if the model provides a fix). An external editor button was added.
Config::Model::OpenSsh is a graphical configuration editor for OpenSSH configuration files (e.g. /etc/ssh/sshd_config, /etc/ssh/ssh_config, or ~/.ssh/config). Other user interfaces (curses and terminal) are also available. Programmers can choose to use the Perl API to modify or validate OpenSSH configuration. This program is based on Config::Model.
Release Notes: A bug was fixed to avoid keyword without value lines. Comments in ssh configuration files are preserved and can be edited through the graphical interface. config-edit-* were removed. config-edit now has auto-completion and can be invoked with "-application ssh" or "-application sshd".
Config-Model provides a framework for editing and validating the content of any configuration file or data. With a configuration model (expressed in a data structure), Config-Model provides a user interface and a tool to validate configuration. An optional graphical (Perl/Tk) or curses interface can be used to edit configuration data that will be validated according to the user-provided model. Config-Model includes a model example for fstab and a small fstab demo.
Release Notes: For Fstab, a wrong value is prevented in fs_passno and fs_freq with bound mount point. For Dpkg, documentation for control Architecture was added. Pod documentation was fixed in the DpkgSyntax backend. For config-edit, the -search and -narrow-search options were added. These options enable search in tree elements, values, and tree documentation.
Rsyslog is an enhanced multi-threaded syslogd. Among others, it offers support for on-demand disk buffering, reliable syslog over TCP, SSL, TLS, and RELP, writing to databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and many more), email alerting, fully configurable output formats (including high-precision timestamps), the ability to filter on any part of the syslog message, on-the-wire message compression, and the ability to convert text files to syslog. It is a drop-in replacement for stock syslogd and able to work with the same configuration file syntax.
Release Notes: This is a maintenance release offering a set of bug fixes. It is suggested that users of the v5-stable branch update to this release.
