cd-discid is a backend utility for getting CDDB discid information for a CD. It was originally designed for cdgrab (now abcde), but can be used for any purpose requiring CDDB data. It has been developed with attention to the CDDB specifications.

Ampache is a Web-based audio file manager. It allows you to view, edit, and play your audio files via the Web. It has support for playlists, artist and album views, album art, random play, playback via HTTP with on-the-fly transcoding and downsampling, vote based playback, playback via MPD and Icecast, an integrated Flash player, and per-user themes and song play tracking. You can also link multiple Ampache servers together using XML-RPC. Ampache supports gettext translations and has full translations into many languages.

giv, the G(reat|tk|NU) Image Viewer, is an image and hierarchical vector viewer. It was designed especially for scientific vision and computational geometry.

The pixel size tool recalculates the distance when toggling between different pixel size modes. The histogram in the contrast tool now shows an indicator of the current gray level when hovering over the image. The TIFF plugin has been extended for floating point and 1-bit images. A PNG (including 16bit) plugin has been added. Alpha transparency for marks may now be toggled on and off. This version also fixes a bug in 64-bit compilation.

Task Coach is a simple todo manager to manage personal tasks and todo lists. It grew out of a frustration that well-known task managers, such as those provided with Outlook or Lotus Notes, do not provide facilities for composite tasks. Zim is a graphical text editor used to maintain a collection of wiki pages. Each page can contain links to other pages, simple formatting, and images. Pages are stored in a folder structure, like in an outliner, and can have attachments. Creating a new page is as easy as linking to a nonexistent page. All data is stored in plain text files with wiki formatting. Various plugins provide additional functionality, like a task list manager, an equation editor, a tray icon, and support for version control. Zim can be used to keep an archive of notes, take notes during meetings or lectures, organize task lists, draft blog entries and email, or do brainstorming.

ExactImage is a fast C++ image processing library. Unlike ImageMagick, it allows operation in several color spaces and bit depths natively, resulting in much lower memory and computational requirements. Some optimized algorithms operate in 1/20 of the time ImageMagick requires, and displaying large images can be as fast as 1/10 of the time the "display" program takes.

svni is a wrapper for "svn ci" that provides an interactive check-in tool for Subversion. It features syntax checking before checking in files, the ability to make a last-minute selection of files when entering a commit message, and a display of the differences that are about to be checked in.
Release Notes: A bug was fixed: property changes no longer trigger errors during commit. Two new options were added: '--message' to specify a default template message, and '--followup' to specify a script to run after a succesful commit.
Plaspool is a KDE4 plasmoid that displays the CUPS spooling queue, i.e. the printing jobs managed by CUPS (Common Unix Printing System). Plaspool also displays an icon on the KDE4 taskbar when a job is processed. The jobs can be canceled when needed.

libjc is a framework for event-driven development in C. Programs that use it can perform an arbitrary number of operations simultaneously and in the background, and later wait for some or all of them to complete. The source package includes the core library along with a few objects, each of which is able to perform a set of related operations. This framework consumes significantly less memory than standard libraries, and it scales well to multiprocessor systems.
Release Notes: The semantics of jc_wait() were changed, and it is now much easier and straightforward to use objects from user programs. All tests have been updated to use the new interface. Functions that manage allocation of resource IDs were added to the X11 client. The configuration library now returns a descriptive error message in case of an error, instead of an error number. A few simple test programs for the X11 client were also added, and several performance improvements and bugfixes were made.
Free Bible Search PHP Script allows you to include a Bible searching and reading facility for your Web site. It is easy to install and can be set up to use either flat files or a MySQL database. Multiple Bible versions are supported. It has a thesaurus for finding synonyms of difficult words. The pages generated by the script can be customized with templates and custom headers and footers.

SCCS is an implementation of the POSIX standard Source Code Control System. It is based on the original UNIX SCCS code provided by Sun as part of OpenSolaris and was made portable to other platforms.

Freeverb3 is a signal processing library. It includes many types of audio processing effects and signal generators including a linear feedback shift register (LFSR) maximum length sequence (MLS) generator, multiple types of high quality mono+stereo reverb effects, a multi slot impulse response processor, multiband hardknee+softknee compressor and limiter, a stereo enhancer, a limiter, and many types of infinite impulse respose (IIR) and finite impulse response (FIR) filters. Also available is Freeverb3VST, a VST effects plugins package based on the Freeverb3 library.

check_openmanage is a plugin for Nagios that checks the hardware health of Dell servers running OpenManage Server Administrator (OMSA). The plugin can be used remotely with SNMP or locally with NRPE, check_by_ssh, or similar. It checks the health of the storage subsystem, power supplies, memory modules, temperature probes, etc., and gives an alert if any of the components are faulty or operate outside normal parameters.

Blender is a free 3D animation studio.
