Download Website 13 Apr 21:27 Xataface 1.3rc3

Screenshot

Xataface is a flexible and shapable skin that sits on top of MySQL, making it accessible to every-day users. It automatically generates the appropriate forms, lists, and menus for a user to interact with the database without having to know any SQL. It is a full-featured Web application framework, and gives developers the flexibility to customize the features and behavior of their application via configuration files (using the simple INI-file syntax), templates, and plug-ins. A generic application with no customizations is completely functional, but the developer is free to customize things at his leisure.

Download Website 13 Apr 21:23 Low-Level Virtual Machine 2.9

Screenshot

Low-Level Virtual Machine (LLVM) is a compiler infrastructure designed for compile-time, link-time, run-time, and "idle-time" optimization of programs from arbitrary programming languages. It currently supports compilation of C, Objective-C, and C++ programs, using front-ends derived from GCC 4.0, GCC 4.2, and a custom new front-end, "clang". It supports x86, x86_64, ia64, PowerPC, and SPARC, with support for Alpha and ARM under development.

Release Notes: Type Based Alias Analysis is now implemented and turned on by default in Clang. Inline assembly now supports multiple alternative constraints. LLVM IR now supports the unnamed_addr attribute to indicate that constant global variables with identical initializers can be merged. Link Time Optimization has been improved to use MC for parsing inline assembly. The new TargetLibraryInfo interface allows mid-level optimizations to know whether the current target's runtime library has certain functions. LLVM has a new RegionPass infrastructure for region-based optimizations.

Download Website 13 Apr 21:18 Parrot and Chirp 3.3.0

Screenshot

Parrot and Chirp are user-level tools that make it easy to rapidly deploy wide area filesystems. Parrot is the client component: it transparently attaches to unmodified applications, and redirects their system calls to various remote servers. A variety of controls can be applied to modify the namespace and resources available to the application. Chirp is the server component: it allows an ordinary user to easily export and share storage across the wide area with a single command. A rich access control system allows users to mix and match multiple authentication types. Parrot and Chirp are most useful in the context of large scale distributed systems such as clusters, clouds, and grids where one may have limited permissions to install software.

Release Notes: Improved support for the HDFS protocol, which can now be detected at run-time. Support has been added for the xrootd protocol. Bugs relating to multi-threaded programs and large PID numbers have been fixed. It adds a driver for Chirp to the ROOT I/O system.

No download Website 13 Apr 21:16 cvechecker 3.1

Screenshot

cvechecker reports about possible vulnerabilities on your system by scanning the installed software and matching the results with the CVE database. This is not a bullet-proof method and you will most likely have many false positives, but it is still better than nothing, especially if you are running a distribution with little security coverage.

Release Notes: This bugfix release sanitizes the user defined key before it is put in the database and fixes a runtime problem when both SQLite and MySQL support are requested.

Download Website 13 Apr 16:39 musl 0.7.8

Screenshot

musl is a new implementation of the standard library for Linux-based systems. It is lightweight, fast, simple, free, and strives to be correct in the sense of standards-conformance and safety. It includes a wrapper for building programs against musl in place of the system standard library (e.g. glibc), making it possible to immediately evaluate the library and build compact statically linked binaries with it.

Release Notes: Multiple bugs in IPv6 support, x86_64 socket and setjmp handling, byte swapping functions, and floating point printf formatting have been fixed. A workaround has been included for a bug in Linux readv() with tty devices, which caused stdio to block after reading a blank line from the terminal. Significant additions have been made to some header files for better compatibility with legacy applications.

Download Website 13 Apr 16:37 Netpbm2Gimp 1.4

Screenshot

Netpbm2Gimp automatically compiles the unmodified source code of a Netpbm graphics program into a GIMP plug-in. The result looks and functions like any other GIMP plug-in, although it takes much less effort to produce than a hand-coded GIMP plug-in.

Avatar

Release Notes: gimp-netpbm2gimp-plugins now represents the 6APR2011 release of Netpbm (v10.54.03), including such new programs as pamrubber, pamwipeout, and ppmtoapplevol. No download No website 13 Apr 15:34 KEDR Framework 0.2.1

Screenshot

KEDR is a framework to facilitate dynamic analysis of kernel modules in Linux ("KEDR" is an acronym for "KErnel-mode Drivers in Runtime"). KEDR allows you to intercept the calls that a kernel module makes to the functions exported by other modules and by the kernel proper. The tools provided by the framework can record the arguments and return values of these functions to a trace, perform fault simulation according to user-defined scenarios, and check the kernel modules for memory leaks and some other kinds of problems. Custom data collection and analysis tools for the Linux kernel can also be built on top of KEDR framework.

Release Notes: The build system was enhanced. It now allows building KEDR for a kernel different from the one running on the build machine. It is also possible to build KEDR for a different system (e.g. for Chromium OS, x86-generic).

Download Website 13 Apr 14:26 klish 1.4.2

Screenshot

The klish is a framework for implementing Cisco-like command-line interfaces on Unix systems. It is configurable through XML files. "Klish" stands for "Kommand Line Interface SHell". The klish is a fork of clish-0.7.3. The original clish was developed by Graeme McKerrell. The klish adds some new features, but is compatible (as much as possible) with clish's XML configuration files.

Avatar

Release Notes: The main feature of this release is greater speed for the konfd and clish binaries. This is important for long initialization configurations. The konfd has become a full-blown daemon with a pidfile, etc. A simple initscript for konfd was implemented. Many fixes were made for command completion and help. Other bugs were fixed.

Download Website 13 Apr 13:09 Sqlkit 0.9.4

Screenshot

Sqlkit provides a GUI named sqledit to edit data in a database, as well as a package (sqlkit) in PyGtk. Sqledit (the application) can be run from the command line with arguments and will pop directly into the table/mask of the data, or without arguments and will present an input mask to write the database URL. Sqlkit (the Python package) provides SqlMask and SqlTable, two widgets for editing database data. It is meant to be used as a base for database desktop applications.

Avatar

Download No website 13 Apr 13:05 Blitz templates for PHP 0.7.1.10-devel

Screenshot

Blitz templates is a fast PHP template engine written in C and compiled as a PHP extension. It started as a php_templates replacement, but developed into much more. It is based on extensible template controllers (custom view classes in PHP) and weakly-active templates (simple logic in HTML). Benchmarks show that it is one of the fastest template engines for PHP, even though it's not trivial and makes Web application closer to a smart MVC-like architecture model with maximal separation of HTML from your code. It was designed for big high-load Internet projects with a lot of complex presentation logic.

Release Notes: This version has completely new parser, analyzer, and executor and a lot of changes improving plug-ins, conditions support, error messages, and compilation issues.
