TOMUSS allows multiple users to edit the same spreadsheet table with their Web browsers. It stores the complete history of the table modification. TOMUSS is intended to be used by teachers to enter ranking and to allow students to see their ranks.

Release Notes: This release is stable. It is now possible for table managers to forbid or allow modifications on the table. There is a new interface to send mail. Before printing, table lines or columns can be hidden. Beside these GUI changes, the source code has been cleaned up to make the addition of new functionality easier.

MQ Channel Encryption (MQCE) is a solution that provides AES encryption for message data flowing between WebSphere MQ (WMQ) resources. It operates with Sender, Receiver, Server, Requestor, Cluster-Sender, Cluster-Receiver, Server Connection, and Client Connection channels of the WMQ queue managers. It is a simple drop-in solution and can be configured as a queue manager channel message exit or as a channel sender/receive exit pair.

Release Notes: This release adds support to create a digital signature using SHA-2. It fixes several small bugs.

MyPaint is a program for painting images from scratch. It supports pressure sensitive graphic tablets and comes with an easy to use brush collection. The canvas size is unlimited. Layers and blending modes are supported.

Release Notes: This is a bugfix release without any new features. Several problems with non-ASCII file names, directory names, and layer names have been fixed, as well as a number of other minor issues. Integration with the Windows platform has been improved.

Toorox is a Linux live DVD based on Gentoo which starts as bootable media using KNOPPIX technology. It is designed for ease of use, with a simple control center and a hard disk installer. It contains many applications and uses KDE, GNOME, or XFCE as a working environment. A live USB pen drive image maker is also present on the desktop. It is multi-lingual and contains the unstable branch of Gentoo (x86 and amd64).

Release Notes: This release contains all improvements of 01.2011 "GNOME" (Linux 2.6.37-gentoo with "200 Lines" Speed-Patch, GRUB 2, and installer extensions). KDE was updated to 4.6.0, and the Xorg server to 1.9.4. The office suite is now LibreOffice 3.3.1. Nearly all packages were updated.

Recoll is a personal full text desktop search tool based on Xapian. It provides an easy to use, feature-rich, easy administration interface with a Qt-based GUI. Text, HTML, PDF, PostScript, MS Word, OpenOffice, Wordperfect, KWord, Abiword, maildir, and mailbox mail folder formats are supported, along with their compressed versions and quite a few others. Powerful query facilities are provided. Multiple character sets are supported, and internal processing and storage uses Unicode UTF-8. Stemming is performed at query time and the stemming language can be switched after indexing.

Release Notes: The release fixes a number of ennoying GUI crashes, a few minor indexing issue, and a priority handling error that could set the whole KDE session to low priority when starting the real time indexing monitor from the session startup script.

Release Notes: A new package, Zip.Compress.Deflate, has been added, with an initial (weak but straightforward) compression technique for the Deflate format. Now Deflate is implemented for both compression and decompression, which could also lead to a version of the ZLib library fully in Ada.

Rsyslog is an enhanced multi-threaded syslogd. Among others, it offers support for on-demand disk buffering, reliable syslog over TCP, SSL, TLS, and RELP, writing to databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and many more), email alerting, fully configurable output formats (including high-precision timestamps), the ability to filter on any part of the syslog message, on-the-wire message compression, and the ability to convert text files to syslog. It is a drop-in replacement for stock syslogd and able to work with the same configuration file syntax.

Release Notes: This is both a stability and a performance enhancement release. Most importantly, imtcp was enhanced to support a small number of worker threads for imtcp processing. This will increase overall processing performance for high-end environments. Stability has improved by including a number of important patches, some of which fix abort conditions.

Frama-C is a suite of tools dedicated to the analysis of the source code of software written in C. Frama-C gathers several static analysis techniques in a single collaborative framework. Sqlkit provides a GUI named sqledit to edit data in a database, as well as a package (sqlkit) in PyGtk. Sqledit (the application) can be run from the command line with arguments and will pop directly into the table/mask of the data, or without arguments and will present an input mask to write the database URL. Sqlkit (the Python package) provides SqlMask and SqlTable, two widgets for editing database data. It is meant to be used as a base for database desktop applications.

Release Notes: This release has many important new features and a lot of changes that made sqlkit more stable. Support for image, file, and enum fields was added. Duplication of the record has been added. Widgets now 'observe' the model to implement a correct MVC pattern, and hooks have been made more robust so that it's easier to create an interactive interface. The dependency on glade has been eliminated so that it's easier to install on Windows. Filters have been extended. The documentation has been constantly enriched and the site is now easier to navigate.

GNU libmicrohttpd is a small C library for embedding HTTP server functionality into other applications. It is reentrant, fast, supports HTTP 1.1, and permits listening on multiple ports. The API is simple and still powerful enough to allow programmers to use the entire HTTP feature set. SSL/TLS support is available as an option.

Release Notes: This release adds support for server-initiated connections (with a new API call). By avoiding the use of pthread signals, portability is improved. A portability issue for digest authentication was fixed. Large file transfers (larger than 2 GB) with sendfile on 32-bit systems should now work; kernel-level sendfile failures are now managed by falling back to standard send calls. The tutorial was updated with an example of how to manage sessions.

QPass is a password manager application. It enables you to store your confidential data encrypted. All entries are stored in a single-file database encrypted using the AES-256 algorithm. Each entry can contain a name, URL, username, password, and description. QPass can also generate random passwords based on mouse movements.

Release Notes: The "Alt+D" shortcut was corrected. Quick access to entries was added through the tray icon. The menu category under Unix was modified. A portable version on Windows was added. Initialization of the progress bar was corrected in the password generator. Opening URLs with the https:// prefix was corrected. The ability to set the QPass window to be always on top was added. The generator button was moved to the top menu. Confirmation is now requested when the user tries to replace a database. An update checker was added. The "Go to URL" button uses Qt functions now. The default button is set in new database form. An option was added to open a database other than the main database.

Guacamole is an HTML5 Web application that provides access to desktop environments using remote desktop protocols such as VNC or RDP. A centralized server acts as a tunnel and proxy, allowing access to multiple desktops through a Web browser. No plugins are needed. In contracts, a new contacts tab was added. For files, an upload limit was added, configured in kilobyte units. A configuration setting to show username or user display name was added. Column length is checked for company, contract, issue, hardware, kb article, and software objects. Confirmation on removing associations was added. Reports were enhanced with new columns such as contract owner, software owner, etc.

File Commander is a text mode file manager and shell in the style of Norton Commander. It allows you to locate, copy, move, delete, view, edit, and execute your files. Its main display provides dual directory view panels which may be used to view a file list, a directory tree, or volume statistics. A command line is also provided and operates in conjuction with the directory panels to make it much more powerful than a regular CLI. Other features include built in support for archives, Unicode file name support, a built in viewer and editor with syntax highlighting, and Unicode text file support.

Release Notes: This is the first stable release version for Linux. In the multi-file search/replace confirmation prompt, the box width is extended if necessary to fit the text values and the box won't overflow if the text still won't fit. A syntax highlighter enables word characters to be redefined for each state. In the editor, the /w flag was added for syntax states for "word scope" to assist with LISP keywords. Command line file name completion was added with Ctrl-TAB. Support was added for 7zip format archives. The !include directive is supported in the syntax definition file.

flashrd creates OpenBSD images tailored for embedded hardware devices and for executing from a virtualized environment. It installs a complete OpenBSD system with "one-touch" upgrade capability. It boots from a ramdisk to make in-place upgrades easy and complete. flashrd partitions for read-only operation by default, to minimize flash wear.

Release Notes: Changes were made to reflect the fact that /etc/rc was slightly reorganized in 4.9. Tardirs are no longer extracted twice. This should still work fine on older versions. rc.shutdown was also fixed so that extraction is not done before re-compacting tardirs.
