white_dune is a graphical VRML97/X3DV editor, simple NURBS/Superformula 3D modeller, animation tool, and VRML97/X3DV commandline compiler in development. VRML97 (Virtual Reality Modeling Language) is the ISO standard for displaying 3D data over the Web via browser plugins ("HTML for realtime 3D"). X3DV is the direct successor of VRML97. VRML97 and X3DV have support for animation, real-time interaction, and multimedia (images, movies, and sounds). white_dune can read, create, and display VRML97/X3DV files and let the user change the scenegraph/fields. It also has support for stereoscopic view via "quadbuffer"-capable stereo visuals, and support for 3D input devices like a joystick, spaceball, or magnetic tracker.

din is a software musical instrument and audio synthesizer. Bezier curves are used to draw and sculpt waveforms, create gating and modulation (FM and AM) patterns, and create delay feedback and volume patterns. You can also create an unlimited number of drones and sculpt their waveforms. It uses JACK to output audio, and supports MIDI, OSC and IRC bot for input. din can be extended and customized with Tcl scripts.
Release Notes: Compressor response at max volume was fixed. The get-drone command and droner Tcl script were fixed. A new variable show_frequency was introduced to display frequency values under the mouse cursor and all the notes of a scale, and the JACK connection name is displayed on the din title bar.
gEcrit is a source code editor oriented toward Python. It tries to keep the interface as clean as possible and keep the menus simple. It features all the common features a Python programmer might need, including an interactive Python interpreter and operating system shell. It supports a plugin system for expandability.
Release Notes: The editor can select entire code blocks now. Some internal designs were changed. Some bugs were fixed. A typographical error was fixed.
OOo4Kids is a simplified version of OpenOffice.org intended for year 7-12 students. Everything is made in collaboration with teachers and students, with the intention of contributing back to Apache OpenOffice.
Release Notes: The StartCenter behavior was simplified and improved. 4 new locales have been added: Greek, Danish, Russian, and Ukrainian. It is now possible to change the user level "on the fly", with the "User Level" menu entry. The Presenter Screen feature has been integrated. 2 new ports have been completed (OpenBSD and Linux ARM). More than 10 crashes and several bugs have been fixed. The total installed size decreased by 10MB.
Evince is a document viewer for multiple document formats, such as PostScript, PDF, single page and multi-page TIFF, DVI, DjVu, and others. It features page thumbnails, printing via the GNOME or GTK+ printing frameworks, and searching within the documents. It supports the displaying of PDF indexes, the displaying and editing of PDF annotations, and the viewing of encrypted PDF documents.
Release Notes: Many minor bugs were fixed. Translations were updated.
389 Directory Server (formerly Fedora Directory Server) is a full-featured LDAPv3 compliant server. In addition to the standard LDAPv3 operations, it supports multi-master replication, fully online configuration and administration, chaining, virtual attributes, access control directives in the data, Virtual List View, server-side sorting, SASL, TLS/SSL, and many other features. The transactional Berkeley DB 4.2 is used as its data store and a full plug-in API allows developers to extend the the functionality of the server in many ways, and many of the core features of the server are already implemented using this API. The server is very mature, having started out as Netscape Directory Server.

MuPO (Multi-Purpose-Organizer) is a powerful PIM application for desktop and PDA systems. It features a hierarchical todo-list and notes, appointments, a project-time recorder, a calendar, recurring items, and more. It is fully searchable, and it includes a tool to sync several mupo-files. You can use it on an Agenda PDA, Compaq iPaq, or on a PC running Linux or Windows. Items can be encrypted.

fotoalbum is a digital photograph/image management tool and viewer. Additional data is stored in an XML file, but can be imported/exported via EXIF/IPTC/XMP. Remote Launcher is an easy-to-use tool that enables you to launch applications remotely on your PC via your Android device. It consists of an Android application (proprietary) and a small server program (GPLv2) for your PC. You can configure Remote Launcher to start any application on your PC with a single click on your Android device. For example, it can start your mediacenter, shutdown or restart the computer, or run a custom script. It has been tested on Ubuntu and Windows 7.

wfrog is a Web-based weather station software with nice charts and many ways to publish them on the Web. The architecture is meant to make it very easy to add support for other weather station models and to allow for rendering the weather data in several formats and media using an extensible renderer structure. The processing and memory footprint of wfrog is very low, making it suitable to run on low-power equipment like PC-engine Alix, Cisco NLSU2, or SheevaPlug. The currently supported weather stations are Ambient Weather WS1080, Davis VantagePro, VantagePro2, Elecsa AstroTouch 6975, Fine Offset Electronics H1080, WH1081, WH1090, WH1091, WH2080, WH2081, Freetec PX1117, LaCrosse 2300 series, Oregon Scientific WMR100N, MR200, WMRS200, WMR928X, PCE FWS20, Scientific Sales Pro, Touch Screen Weather Station, Topcom National Geographic 265NE, Watson W8681, and any station using the WESTEP protocol.

Fabula is a Python game engine suitable for adventure, role-playing, and strategy games and digital interactive storytelling. It offers a client-server architecture, an event-based protocol, multiplayer and networking capabilities, a multi-threaded server, an abstract, visualization-agnostic model of a game world, an asset manager, and a plugin system. Gameplay can be recorded and played back. The code is well documented and runs on Linux and MS Windows (it should work on OS X, too, but this has not yet been tested). Fabula can be used as a library to develop your own games. As an alternative, you can use the included Pygame-based graphical editor and the default game engine.
Release Notes: This release adds Entity.blocking and Entity.mobile flags, to be evaluated by the server when processing attempt events. Code processing pick up attempts now check whether Entity.mobile is True. Improved pathfinding, preventing entities from wandering around when the target is blocked. WDB is a weather data storage system for storage of weather and water observations, forecasts, analysis fields, and models. The system should be compatible with the meteorological standards BUFR and GRIB (version 1 and 2). In addition to generic loading programs, WDB also features a flexible retrieval interface for retrieving weather data in time series or entire fields. WDB is built using PostgreSQL extended with PostGIS.
Release Notes: This release adds a new CF parameter (dew point temperature) and fixes an erroneous table constraint in a table.
GNU Zile (Zile Is Lossy Emacs) is a lightweight Emacs clone. Every Emacs user should feel at home with Zile. Zile is aimed at small footprint systems (a typical binary is about 100Kb) and quick editing sessions (it starts up and shuts down instantly).

With LinkChecker, you can check HTML documents and Web sites for broken links. It features recursion, robots.txt exclusion protocol support, HTTP proxy support, i18n support, multithreading, regular expression filtering rules for links, and user/password checking for authorized pages. Output can be colored or normal text, HTML, SQL, CSV, or a sitemap graph in DOT, GML, or XML format. Supported link types are HTTP/1.1 and 1.0, HTTPS, FTP, mailto:, news:, nntp:, Telnet, and local files.

Cego implements a relational and transactional database system with support for the SQL query language. The current release contains the most common database features for basic table manipulation and data retrieval. Indexes, foreign keys, views, and stored procedures are also implemented. Future releases (2.0 and above) will support a multi-node database concept with log file shipping for an automatic database application failover.

BitNami Coppermine Stack is an easy-to-use installer for Coppermine, which is a multi-purpose fully-featured, and integrated Web picture gallery script written in PHP and using GD or ImageMagick as its image library with a MySQL backend.

svni is a wrapper for "svn ci" that provides an interactive check-in tool for Subversion. It features syntax checking before checking in files, the ability to make a last-minute selection of files when entering a commit message, and a display of the differences that are about to be checked in.

Aspose.Pdf for Reporting Services makes it possible to generate PDF reports from Microsoft SQL Server 2000 & 2005 Reporting Services. It supports advanced features like adding PDF bookmarks, using HTML tags, XMP metadata, custom embedded fonts, and rendering watermarks for pages. It can also convert all RDL report features including sections, images, charts, tables, matrices, headers, and footers to PDF. It also enables you to create PDF documents on the server without using Adobe PDF Library SDK.
Release Notes: This new release includes the highly demanded feature of rendering subscript and superscript text in a resultant PDF, which is not supported by default by the export feature of SQL Reporting Services. Users can either use “custom report property” or “Sub and Sup HTML tags” to render the text accordingly. The margin rendering has become even more precise and the resultant PDF files are more similar to the source report documents.
ScenePainter is a program for creating comics by (re-)arranging prefabricated graphic elements, taken from a media library. It can also be used as a developer tool for programmers and artists that are building games using threering's nenya library. Currently, ScenePainter does not ship with resourcefiles of its own, but is able to extract graphics from the games "Puzzle Pirates" and "Bang Howdy" by three rings design, inc. These graphics however, are copyrigthed materials and require permission to be used (e.g. for creating fan art).
Release Notes: Several GUI quirks were fixed. A new style was for the speech balloons. The File menu now tracks recently opened files.
