BlockHosts is a script to record how many times a local system is attacked, based on configurable scanning of system logs for sshd or other services. When a particular IP address exceeds a configured number of failed login attempts, that IP address is blocked using hosts.allow files, or by using null-routing, or by using packet filtering. An email notification facility is also available.

MXE (M cross environment) is a Makefile that compiles a cross compiler and cross compiles many free libraries such as SDL and Qt. Thus, it provides a nice cross compiling environment for various target platforms.
Release Notes: The download mechanisms were improved. A CMake toolchain file is now provided to simplify cross-compiling projects that use CMake. Support for Debian/Lenny was dropped. The gtk package was renamed to gtk2. Almost all packages were updated to their latest version. The following new packages are supported: dbus, graphicsmagick, libical, liboauth, physfs, and vigra. boost::filesystem users should note that version 3 is a major revision and now the default in 1.46.
RKWard aims to provide an easily extensible, easy to use IDE/GUI for the R project. RKWard strives to combine the power of the R language with the (relative) ease of use of commercial statistical packages. While RKWard is far from finished, it is already useful as an IDE interface to the R language.
Release Notes: The GUI frontend and R backend have been split into separate processes, in order to enhance stability and compatibility with certain R packages. Many bugs have been fixed, and many features have been improved.
FireBreath is a cross-platform plugin architecture, targeting NPAPI browsers on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux (Gecko/Firefox, Google Chrome, Apple Safari, Opera) and ActiveX Control hosts, including all versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer. It is designed to make it easier to get started than even doing an NPAPI plugin by hand. A Python-based "fbgen" tool generates a template skeleton and makes it possible to have a functioning browser plugin up and running in 20 minutes.

TrueCL aims to provide advanced high availability clustering across larger clusters. It has currently been tested with up to 8 nodes. It is the successor to linuxha.net. It has been designed to be as portable as possible and currently has been tested on Linux, Solaris, and HP-UX. It has many advanced features, including multiple storage types, a dynamic architecture, volume manager neutrality, file system neutrality, heterogeneous cluster support, no hard limits, and encryption of communication between nodes.
Release Notes: A significant number of fixes and small enhancements have been added to this release, including better configuration database handling, support for fully qualified hostnames and domains, dynamic heartbeat configuration fixes, support for network type events in the events sub-system, and a disk sizing correction for recent Linux LVM versions.
NOCC is a simple and fast Web-based e-mail reader which can handle POP3, SMTP, and IMAP servers. It is written with PHP5, and uses sessions, has low requirements (no database, frames), and is easy to install. It also features multi-language support, MIME attachment decoding/encoding, and the ability to display HTML messages.
Release Notes: Many internal changes and translation updates were made. PHP5 and CKEditor are now used. Bugs were fixed.
wsrep-enabled MySQL (previously MySQL/Galera cluster) can use wsrep replication providers, such as Galera, to form a cluster. wsrep API is an abstract replication interface that supports global transaction ID, true multi-master capability, conflict detection and resolution, and parallel applying and is transparent to triggers, stored procedures, and functions by replicating only final transaction results. Only the InnoDB storage engine and DDL commands are supported by this patch.
Release Notes: MySQL was updated to 5.1.53. Two reported group communication layer issues that led to spontaneous cluster unavailability were fixed. Miscellaneous small fixes and cleanups were done.
DIASER is a cloud storage class combined geo-data replication, long-term archive system, and WAN vault application. Manage long term mixed data archives generated by existing backup software. Ensure availability using commodity hardware. Retain administrative and financial control. It combines a disk-based backup volume management system and triple redundancy with a storage architecture designed to structure months to years of long term sustainable archiving space. It is a quick and low-cost way to make an environment more robust by backing up data in multiple places. This replication also provides fast retrieval of archived data from all node hosting locations. A Perl installer creates the system. Nodes can be dedicated to storage or used for existing services over unused bandwidth. DIASER works in user space over SSH.

Level 5 and 4 are complete for the CLI management tool, as well as most level 3 changes. Histograms now display better when there are many bins. The layout of the project selection form was simplified and the preferences form was changed. Labels when users are selecting a range of groups rather than discrete groups e.g. in ANOVA were changed. Medians and other summary data were added to Wilcoxon output. A more useful message is displayed when there are early errors running the program. The next "What's up" connection date is only delayed if it successfully gets through.

pfm is a terminal-based file manager written in Perl. All pfm commands can be invoked with one- or two-key commands. The Java Algebra System (JAS) is an object oriented, type safe, multi-threaded approach to computer algebra. JAS provides a well designed software library using generic types for algebraic computations implemented in the Java programming language. The library can be used as any other Java software package, or it can be used interactively or interpreted through a Jython or JRuby front end. The focus at the moment is on commutative and solvable polynomials, power-series, multivariate polynomial factorization, Gröbner bases, and applications.
