No download Website 09 Feb 22:03 MyMediaLite 0.10

Screenshot

MyMediaLite is a lightweight, multi-purpose library of recommender system algorithms. It addresses the two most common scenarios in collaborative filtering: rating prediction (e.g. on a scale of 1 to 5 stars), and item prediction from implicit feedback (e.g. from clicks or purchase actions). It contains dozens of recommender engines, including state-of-the-art matrix factorization methods. It also supports real-time updates to the recommender engines, storing engines to disk and reloading them again, and several evaluation measures to compare the accuracy of different recommender system methods. Three command-line programs that offer most of the functionality contained in the library are included.

Release Notes: The command line tools now use reflection to automatically find all relevant recommenders. This means you do not have to modify the command line tools any more to use your newly implemented recommenders. The kNN-based methods are now faster and consume less memory because they take data sparsity better into account. A method for the diversification of result sets has been added to the experimental section of MyMediaLite. Some namespaces and types have been renamed to have nicer, more intuitive names.

Download Website 09 Feb 21:52 feh 1.11.2

Screenshot

feh is a fast, lightweight image viewer that uses imlib2. It is command line-driven and supports multiple images through slideshows, thumbnail browsing or multiple windows, and montages or index prints using TrueType fonts to display file information. Advanced features include fast dynamic zooming, progressive loading, loading via HTTP (with reload support for watching webcams), recursive file opening (slideshow of a directory hierarchy), and mouse wheel and keyboard control.

Release Notes: This release fixes a hole when using feh with HTTP/FTP URLs: an attacker knowing the feh PID and the URL could make feh overwrite arbitrary user files with images by using symlinks to those files and a TOCTTOU attack on feh's unique filename mechanism. This release adds the --no-clobber switch to wget. An attacker can still create arbitrary files via dangling symlinks, but overwriting existing files is no longer possible. A proper fix (probably replacing wget with libcurl) will be provided in feh 2.0.
