The goal of dzo is to treat application database objects the same way the application's source code is treated, with respect to development, revision control, and deployment. Dzo uses a text file that contains native create statements for all database objects and compares them against the actual database-schema. As a result, dzo creates the SQL statements needed to update the database schema (or you can let dzo execute the SQL statements directly). If your application lives in a Tomcat or Java EE application server, dzo has a servlet that controls the deployment process, inspects and executes the necessary database changes, and finally deploys the application. Dzo currently works with HSQLDB, MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server (more to come).
Release Notes: You now can control how naming from Classes/fields to Tables/columns is done. Support for HSQLDB was started, but is not finished yet. The annotations @Embeddable, @MappedSuperclass, @EmbedId, @Inheritance @ManyToMany, @CollectionOfElements, @JoinTable, and @JoinColumns are handled when generating SQL from JPA annotated entity beans. The ENGINE_INFO type was added to handle different settings in a database engine. For MySQL, this is used to detect the value of lower_case_table_names. Comparing table names and column names in MySQL is now case-insensitive. Columns of blob, clob, text, and image type are handled. Command line parsing was refactored.
Release Notes: The installer was updated to support SiteCatalog creation and Flex Assets publishing. A content page was implemented for text pages. A redirector was added to easily reach the home page.

Sally is a tool for mapping a set of strings to a set of vectors. This mapping is referred to as embedding and allows techniques of machine learning and data mining to be applied for the analysis of string data. It can be used with data such as text documents, DNA sequences, or log files. The vector space model or bag-of-words model is used. Strings are characterized by a set of features, where each feature is associated with one dimension of the vector space. Occurrences of the features in each string are counted. Alternatively, binary or TF-IDF values can be computed. Vectors can be output in plain text, LibSVM, or Matlab format.

ZUPS allows for monitoring the state of one or more UPS devices using SNMP and executing user-specified commands in case of power outage, such as email notifications and controlled remote host shutdowns. If the UPS devices are running on battery, the shutdown commands are executed for an arbitrary number of remote hosts, optionally with some delay specified for each host. ZUPS can be configured to ignore these delays and run the specified commands immediately if the UPS devices are running out of battery power. Custom plugins can easily be added in order to perform other checks.
Release Notes: This release fixes a segfault that was triggered in certain corner cases. It also fixes a memory leak and various other minor problems.

tpkg is a cross-platform tool for packaging and deploying applications. It is designed to work alongside your operating system's packaging tool. The deployment features in tpkg are designed to scale to deployments across hundreds or thousands of systems.
Release Notes: Permissions on symlinks are now set appropriately. Some harmless warnings were silenced from the library used to validate the syntax of the tpkg.yml file when making a package. An issue was fixed in the client Rakefile introduced in the last release (2.2.2) that led to client packages with an invalid directory structure. The package_toplevel_directory now only reads the necessary first few blocks of the package rather than reading the whole package. That change should speed up operations involving larger packages.
