Inspired by dd5sum, ddsum includes the following features: support for md5, sha1, sha224, sha256, sha384 and sha512 (plus any additional digests provided by OpenSSL); the ability to read source data and write it out while computing a message digest; the ability to compute multiple message digests with one pass of the source data; and the ability to verify that a message digest matches the data you have.

system-config-printer configures a CUPS server. It uses the CUPS API (bound to Python with pycups) to do this. The communication with the server is performed using IPP. As a result, it is equally able to configure a remote CUPS server as a local one.

Burp is a program that backs up and restores data. It uses librsync in order to save on the amount of space that is used by each backup. It also uses VSS (Volume Shadow Copy Service) to make snapshots when backing up Windows computers.
Release Notes: Large scale rewrites to the main backup process to make it more efficient and easier to understand. Much tidying up of code and splitting into smaller files. Removal of complicated/flaky compression sections from the network code. Network compression will come free with SSL anyway (when it is implemented). Currently, whole new files are transmitted compressed, and file information and deltas are not.

Currency Quoter is a tool that converts between currencies and forecasts the future range of that conversion. It is meant primarily for those who sell services in different currencies. It allows you to work out the current value and likely future value of a given amount in a different currency. The program also displays graphs of the corresponding exchange rate over time.
Release Notes: A minor bug has been fixed in the exchange rate interpolation routine. Five additional currencies have been added to those available.
MSGViewer can display Microsoft Outlook MSG files without the requirement of having Microsoft Outlook installed. The mail messages can be displayed and attachments can be extracted.

It can store data about expenses and produce a report with yearly, monthly, and daily costs. It reports the compatibility between fishes and plants in its database. It can import fishbase.org XML data, and your own pictures can be added.
Release Notes: The data model was made quicker. Localization was completed. XML import was updated to the new Fishbase.org format. Locale and reports preferences were added. Backup functions were added. More than one database file can be managed at once now. Themes for reports were added.

OpenCAN is a software platform for interacting with various Controller Area Network (CAN or CANbus) devices. It provides an abstract C++ interface that can be used to control CAN devices. Support for specific devices can be written as plugins, and then loaded through a simple API call. Each component is cross-platform, enabling the efficient development of CAN software on Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X.
Release Notes: Several critical bugs were fixed. Minor improvements were made to documentation and Testbench. The OpenCAN core was left unchanged, but the most critical bug was a crash in Testbench if no device plugins are loaded. Two bugs were also fixed in the PCAN plugin for Windows. The first was incorrectly setting the baud rate, and the second was incorrectly reporting the status of the connection to the device. Testbench was improved by increasing the drawing speed of the receive message windows.

Release Notes: This version includes all fixes done since the previous release. Start/end date changes were disabled in the advanced allocation window. Graph dependencies are not travelled in this window yet, so as temporary fix, changing the start date or the end date of a task in this screen will not be allowed. Several fixes were made for the limiting resources planning window. Gantt view dependencies using limiting resources tasks were fixed. The allocation window was improved to avoid misunderstandings when using the interface.
exJello is a JavaMail provider that connects to a Microsoft Exchange server (actually, it uses the WebDAV interface exposed by Outlook Web Access). It is designed as a drop-in replacement for the standard POP3 and SMTP providers. This allows you to send and receive messages through your Exchange server in situations where a POP3/SMTP interface is not available (through a restrictive firewall, for example, or if your administrator simply does not provide a POP3 or SMTP gateway).
