Krename is a very powerful batch file renamer for KDE which can rename a list of files based on a set of expressions. It can copy/move the files to another directory or simply rename the input files. Krename supports many conversion operations, including conversion of a filename to lowercase or to uppercase, conversion of the first letter of every word to uppercase, adding numbers to filenames, finding and replacing parts of the filename, and many more. It can also change access and modification dates, permissions, and file ownership.

nss-pam-ldapd is a Name Service Switch module and Pluggable Authentication Module using an LDAP server. It allows your LDAP server to provide user account, group, host name, alias, netgroup, and almost any other information that you would normally get from /etc flat files or NIS, and allows you to do authentication to an LDAP server.
Release Notes: This release adds support for larger gecos values, improves logging, and handles numeric values from LDAP more carefully. It integrates FreeBSD improvements and fixes a few bugs. It brings the completion of pynslcd, the Python implementation of nslcd, closer. It should now be usable in test environments.
BS is a data structures library. It features fixed size, random access sequences. The sequences are constructed over B-trees. Complexity for most single item operations is about O(logN). The sequences are three to five times faster over random access BST-based sequences, while having better memory usage characteristics.

LanguageTool is a style and grammar checker that currently supports English, Polish, German, French, Dutch, and other languages to a different degree. It scans the words and their part-of-speech tags for occurrences of error patterns, which are defined in an XML file. More powerful error rules can be written in Java.
Release Notes: Error detection rules have been updated for several languages (Chinese, French, Breton, and others). The Java packages have been renamed from de.danielnaber.languagetool.* to org.languagetool.*. Some small bugs have been fixed.

mtPaint is a simple GTK+1/2 painting program designed for creating icons and pixel-based artwork. It can edit indexed palette or 24 bit RGB images and offers basic painting and palette manipulation tools. MultiTail lets you view one or multiple files like the original tail program. The difference is that it creates multiple windows on your console (with ncurses). Merging of 2 or more log files is possible. It can also use colors while displaying the log files (through regular expressions) for faster recognition of what is important. It can also filter lines (again with regular expressions). It has interactive menus for editing given regular expressions and deleting and adding windows. One can also have windows with the output of shell scripts and other software. When viewing the output of external software, MultiTail can mimic the functionality of tools like 'watch'.

Preliminary GConf support was added, supporting session ID-based restore. Preliminary GConf support emulates Mac OS X "open" functionality such that dumpfiles/savefiles can be targeted to an open GTKWave viewer or session ID.
