Rho is a small, very powerful console-based POSIX text editor and mini-IDE with Bash/Emacs key bindings. A configuration file allows the user to create macros using not only any internal function but anything available to a shell command. Keyboard macros (Ctl-Alt-A through Z) can be sourced into the editor for each kind of task, the next sourcing overwriting the last. Rho also allows an unlimited number of templates (sh, awk, python, etc.) to be injected into executable buffers which trap stdout and stderr.

Download Website 05 Nov 11:24 o42a 0.1.0

Screenshot

o42a is a high-level general purpose programming language. It is compiled, statically-typed, prototype-based, logic-driven, and primarily declarative, while the imperative programming style is also supported. A program written in o42a is closer to natural English text than one written in any C-like programming language. The language is designed with programming productivity and code maintainability as main priorities. This achieved by powerful, yet restrained, semantics, and expressive and natural syntax.

Release Notes: This is the initial release of the o42a programming language. It is intended to introduce the main language concepts and is the result of two and a half years of development. This is a draft implementation. It's still missing many of the important language features and has a very basic runtime library, but is enough to start writing the simplest programs and become familiar with o42a.

Screenshot

Vendetta Online is a multi-platform 3D space-combat MMO for Windows, Mac, Linux/32 and Linux/64. The game permits players to interact in a vast online galaxy; fighting, trading, and mining their way to success. A "twitch" type real-time combat model makes true player skill the deciding factor instead of character advancement. Massive capital-ship battles shake the foundations of the major nations at war, while others struggle to push back the encroachment of the AI "Hives". A no-strings free trial is available.

Release Notes: Arklan Guardians now have a one-in-ten chance of dropping an Avalon Torpedo launcher. They will eventually be for sale near Deneb as well, or potentially dropped by certain convoys (this is a first step). All platforms now default to autodock mode (this can be changed in Options -> Game Settings). The single-player Android tutorial now does autodock. Miscellaneous UI tweaks have been made for the Android version. Marshall now only gives a list of bounties which have logged in recently. Training bot behavior has improved. Empty bounty news posts now say there were no bounties collected instead of being blank.

No download Website 05 Nov 11:10 Fotoxx 11.11.1

Screenshot

Fotoxx navigates an image collection using a thumbnail browser to choose images to view or edit. Edit functions include brightness, contrast, color, gamma, white balance, tone mapping, red eyes, sharpen, blur, noise suppression, smart erase, trim (crop), resize, rotate, add text, bend/warp, many art effects, HDR, HDF, stack, and panorama. Edit functions use movable curves and sliders. Feedback is live using the whole image. RAW files can be edited and saved with deep color. Areas or objects can be selected using freehand draw, follow edge, and tone matching. Selections can be edited in place with adjustable blending. They can also be cut and pasted into other images. Any metadata can be edited, reported, and searched (filenames, tags, dates, geotags, comments, captions, ratings, etc.). Collections (arbitrary subsets) can be defined and viewed. Batch functions are available for rename, resize/export, RAW conversion, and more.

Release Notes: Creating and editing image collections has been made easier and more intuitive. New files are found and indexed automatically at startup. The "Keystone" correction has been fixed to work for extreme cases. The rotate and warp functions now have buttons for grid line setup, and grid lines are movable with respect to the image. The user guide now has a summary of recent changes to reduce the effort to keep current. A one-page "quick reference" for all image editing functions has been added to the Help menu. The Debian package now includes all package dependencies.

No download Website 05 Nov 11:07 nxlog 1.2.461

Screenshot

nxlog is a modular, multi-threaded, high-performance log management solution with multi-platform support. In concept, it is similar to syslog-ng or rsyslog, but is not limited to Unix/syslog only. It can collect logs from files in various formats, receive logs from the network remotely over UDP, TCP, or TLS/SSL on all supported platforms. It supports platform-specific sources such as the Windows Eventlog, Linux kernel logs, Android device logs, local syslog, etc. Writing and reading logs to/from databases is also supported for many database servers. The collected logs can be stored into files, databases, or forwarded to a remote log server using various protocols. The old BSD Syslog and the newer IETF syslog standard (RFC 3164 and RFC 5424-5426) are fully supported by nxlog in addition to XML, JSON, CSV, GELF, and other custom formats. A key concept in nxlog is to be able to handle and preserve structured logs so there is no need to convert everything to syslog and then parse these logs again at the other side. It has powerful message filtering, log rewrite, and conversion capabilities. Using a lightweight, modular, and multi-threaded architecture which can scale, nxlog can process hundreds of thousands of events per second.

Release Notes: This release fixes the exec_async() call, which was generating zombies under some circumstances. Sample nxlog.conf files have been added.
