Cego implements a relational and transactional database system with support for the SQL query language. The current release contains the most common database features for basic table manipulation and data retrieval. Indexes, foreign keys, views, and stored procedures are also implemented. Future releases (2.0 and above) will support a multi-node database concept with log file shipping for an automatic database application failover.

Flite For Asterisk provides the "Flite" dialplan application, which allows you to use the Flite TTS Engine with Asterisk. This module invokes the Flite TTS engine locally, and uses it to render text to speech. It supports voice selection and 8kHz or 16kHz sample rates to provide the best possible sound quality along with the use of wideband codecs. It works with Asterisk 1.6.x, 1.8, and 10.
Release Notes: This release adds an option to choose between available Flite voices. It changes the output file format to raw signed linear. This adds support for 16kHz sound playback in asterisk 1.6. There is better error handling.
Cronopete aims to be a full clone of Apple's Time Machine backup program. It's written in Vala and uses GTK2 or GTK3.

MinuteMan is a work time tracking utility. For multiple employers, you can track time for multiple projects, track to-do lists, and generate reports. You can clock in/out, add time intervals by mouse, edit time intervals, add notes, view a colored bar graph of time intervals, and see a display by week or month.
Release Notes: Initial Alpha release. Mostly feature complete. Known outstanding issues: the potential to use a lot of memory after many time intervals have accumulated; appearance bugs for certain L&Fs (e.g. Win7); no XML export/import; and rounding granularity still fixed at 15 minutes.
4MLinux is a miniature Linux distribution focusing on four capabilities: maintenance (by using it as a system rescue live CD), multimedia (for example, for playing video DVDs), miniserver (using the inetd daemon), and mystery (meaning console games).
Release Notes: This will be a core system (4.5 MB in size) for the 4MLinux 3.1 series. The system includes Linux 3.0.0, glibc 2.13, and Busybox 1.19.2.

Fanurio is a time tracking and billing application designed to help freelancers manage their work and be paid for it. Release Notes: This release fixes small bugs, mostly related to the latest versions of Ubuntu (11.10) and Mac OS X (10.7). Tax groups are sorted by name in the New Invoice dialog. The default tax group is now the first one lexicographically. Fanurio didn't delete older backup copies as documented in the manual. Time rounding didn't work for new category-based service items. The user interface for Mac OS X Snow Leopard and Lion has been fixed. Some dialogs occupy the whole screen when running Fanurio using Open JDK on Linux. The application icon is no longer blurry in Ubuntu's Unity launcher.
giis-ext4 (gET iT i sAY) is a file recovery tool for Ext4 filesystems. Once installed, current files and newly created files can be recovered. It allows users to recover all deleted files, recover files owned by a specific user, and recover files of a specific type, such as text or PNG. It uses ext2fs lib and sqlite.
Release Notes: During recovery, this release recomputes the md5sums of recovered files, compares them with the original md5sums, and updates the status in the log file. The log file is now in a human-readable format.
beaTunes is an iTunes companion app capable of automatically analyzing your music collection to help you build better playlists. It analyzes BPM (beats per minute), silence at the beginning or end of a song, and the color (based on frequency spectrum) of a given song. Some of the data is stored through iTunes, and some is stored by beaTunes itself. beaTunes can suggest albums that would complement your music collection, display music charts, and help you find and fix errors in your song meta data, like typos and wrong genres. It also allows you to blog about selected songs or playlists.

W3Perl is a free logfile analyzer. It can read Web/FTP/Squid/CUPS/DHCP/SSH or mail logfiles. It allows most statistical data to be ouput with graphical and textual information. An administration interface is available to manage the package.

iText is a library that contains classes to generate and manipulate documents in the Portable Document Format (PDF). Document manipulation includes splitting, merging, and filling out forms (AcroForms, static and dynamic XFA forms).
Release Notes: This release brings the long-awaited support for PAdES-LTV (this will be part of the upcoming PDF-2 standard), improves the code for parsing PDFs for images, fixes most of the bugs which were reported since the previous release, and makes iText more tolerant towards PDFs which weren't created correctly.
Aspose.Pdf is a .NET PDF component to write PDF documents without using Adobe Acrobat. It supports form field creation, document, text and page properties, color space, text, heading, and attachment settings. It lets you create PDF documents by using its API with XML templates and XSL-FO files. It also converts HTML, XSL-FO, and MS Word to PDF. Other features include image formats and security features, hyperlinks, the ability to add footnotes, automatic fitting to content in a table, decimal Tab stops, HTML tags, and keeping paragraphs together when breaking pages.
Release Notes: This release includes conversion of PDF files into HTML format and allows users to extract non-English text, including support for Arabic, Hebrew, etc. Users can now specify custom text and image files when adding signatures to PDF documents. Spack is a standalone package manager with its own CPIO-based package format but aiming to keep total compatibility with Slackware Linux. Written in POSIX shell as much as it makes sense, it attempts to provide a fairly complete toolkit to build, install, remove, list, retrieve, and arrange your packages. It can be used as an alternative to Slackware's pkgtools, just to independently and properly manage your local software on any distribution, or as the main package manager of the distribution you build yourself.
Release Notes: The spackedit command was added to provide facilities to fix or tweak a package without having to always rebuild it from scratch. The Slackware compatibility mode switch was also implemented in spackpkg, and some tiny bugs were fixed.
GTK, which stands for the Gimp ToolKit, is a library for creating graphical user interfaces. It is designed to be small and efficient, but still flexible enough to allow the programmer freedom in the interfaces created. GTK provides some unique features over standard widget libraries.
