The GNU Compact Disc Input and Control library encapsulates CD-ROM reading and control for applications wishing to be oblivious to the OS- and device-dependent properties of a CD-ROM. It provides an API for access to SCSI-MMC (multimedia commands) and support for CD image types like BIN/CUE, cdrdao's TOC, and Nero's NRG, which gives applications using the library the ability to read disc images as though they were CDs. ISO-9660 filesystem support is included, as are utility programs for displaying CD and CD-ROM drive information, reading the blocks of a CD, and extracting files from an ISO-9660 filesytem image. cdparanoia is also included.
Release Notes: This release added the ability to write CDs using SCSI MMC commands. Currently this is available on GNU/Linux and FreeBSD systems. The ability to retrieve the SCSI sense reply for MMC commands was also added. MMC feature profile lists were updated. Double-byte strings in CD-Text are now supported. V6 Thompson Shell Port provides two ports of the original /bin/sh from Sixth Edition (V6) UNIX (circa 1975). osh is an enhanced port of the shell, and sh6 is an unenhanced port of the shell. This project also includes glob6, if, goto, and fd2 as external shell utilities. While they remain external for compatible use by sh6, these utilities are integrated into osh to improve shell performance.
Release Notes: This release is dedicated to the memory of Dennis M. Ritchie (dmr). It fixes a mkconfig problem on older OpenBSD releases and a globbing problem caused by an unsigned integer overflow. It adds $# (as a synonym for $n) and $* parameters, and a new command aliasing feature that is similar to csh(1) aliasing in some respects. Style changes were made in all of the manual pages, and a new "Aliases (+)" subsection was added to osh.1. The included example osh dot files were updated.
libmemcached is a C client library for interfacing to a memcached server. It has been designed to be light on memory usage, thread safe and to provide full access to server side methods. It also implements several command line tools: memcat, memflush, memrm, memstat, and memslap (for load generation). The library has been designed to allow for different hashing methods on keys, partitioning by keys, and to use consistent hashing for distribution.
Release Notes: libmemcached/memcached_util.h (an undocumented header file) were dropped. memcached_touch() and memcached_touch_by_key() were added. UDP support was restructured to toggle on a complete memcached_st structure.

The j661 project provides a generic CDS (or ARINC 661 Server) in order to facilitate the understanding of the ARINC 661 standard, prototype ARINC 661 concepts and architectures, and facilitate the reuse of ARINC 661 specifications and artefacts between projects. The CDS architecture is designed to allow defining the Server behavior to be easily modified or extended. This is achieved by a modular plug-in architecture, allowing customization at runtime without changing anything in the Server core itself.

metaf2xml can download, parse, and decode aviation routine weather reports (METAR, SPECI, SAO), aerodrome forecasts (TAF), synoptic observations (SYNOP), and BUOY observations, and store the data as XML. XSLT style sheets convert it to plain language, as HTML or text. Current weather data from NOAA and other sources can be fetched and displayed.
Release Notes: Starting with this release, the parsed data can be accessed via a callback function. Releases are now installed with a Perl script. The hourly temperature in METAR remarks is processed as an observed value, not a 1 hour average. Missing data for weather history (RABMM) and 24h min./max. temperature in METAR remarks is recognized. Oww (One-Wire Weather) is a client program for Dallas Semiconductor / AAG 1-wire weather station kits, providing a graphical (animated) display to monitor outside temperature, wind speed and direction, rainfall, and humidity. Extra temperature sensors may be added. A 1-wire "hub" may be used for improved reliability and range. Weather data may be logged to CSV files, parsed to command line programs, sent to the Henriksen Windows client, or uploaded to Web servers at Dallas, The Weather Underground, and HAMweather.
