Download Website 04 Oct 21:50 dupeGuru Picture Edition 2.3.0

Screenshot

dupeGuru Picture Edition is a tool to find duplicate pictures on your computer. dupeGuru PE is efficient, thanks to its quick fuzzy matching algorithm. Not only can dupeGuru PE find exact matches, but it can also find duplicates among pictures of different kind (PNG, JPEG, GIF, etc.) and quality. dupeGuru PE is customizable. You can tweak its matching engine to find exactly the kind of duplicates you want to find. The Preference page of the help file lists all the scanning engine settings you can change. dupeGuru PE is safe. Its engine has been especially designed with safety in mind. Its reference directory system as well as its grouping system prevent you from deleting pictures you didn't mean to delete. dupeGuru PE supports JPG, PNG, TIFF, GIF, BMP, and PSD formats. All these formats can be compared together. Not only can you delete the duplicate pictures dupeGuru PE finds, but you can also move or copy them elsewhere. You can also easily weed the bad duplicates out, thanks to the Power Marker.

Download Website 04 Oct 21:46 jmx4perl 1.00

Screenshot

Jmx4Perl provides an alternate way of accessing Java JEE Server management interfaces that are based on JMX (Java Management Extensions). It is an agent-based approach where a small Web application deployed on the application server provides HTTP/JSON-based access to JMX MBeans registered within the application server. It is set up from a handful of Perl modules, which can be integrated seamlessly in your own programs. It also includes a Nagios plugin, check_jmx4perl, a jmx4perl command line tool for remote JMX queries and operations, and a readline-based JMX shell j4psh, with context sensitive command completion and syntax highlighting.

Release Notes: This is the first official GA release, which is streamlined with the Jolokia agent 1.0.0 release. This release contains a changed escaping scheme for GET requests and is recommended for communication with a Jolokia 1.0.0 agent.

Download Website 04 Oct 21:46 Jolokia 1.00

Screenshot

Jolokia is a fresh way of accessing JMX MBeans remotely. It is different from JSR-160 connectors, as it is an agent based approach that uses JSON over HTTP for its communication. It provides new features for JMX remoting: bulk requests allow for multiple JMX operations with a single remote server roundtrip, there is a fine-grained security mechanism for restricting JMX access on specific JMX operations, JSR-160 proxy mode, and history tracking, to name a few. Jolokia's origins are in jmx4perl. Client bindings in addition to Perl have already been added, and more are planned.

Release Notes: This is the first official GA release, which adds bugfixes, a complete reference manual, and enhanced internal values as verified by various code metrics.

Download No website 04 Oct 15:52 odb 1.6.0

Screenshot

ODB is a compiler-based object-relational mapping (ORM) system for C++. It allows you to persist C++ objects to a relational database without having to deal with tables, columns, or SQL and without manually writing any mapping code. The C++ code that performs the conversion between persistent classes and their database representation is automatically generated by the ODB compiler. The ODB compiler is a real C++ compiler except that instead of producing assembly or machine code, it generates portable C++, which can in turn be compiled by any C++ compiler. ODB is not a framework. It does not dictate how you should write your application. Rather, it is designed to fit into your style and architecture by only handling C++ object persistence and not interfering with any other functionality.

Release Notes: The major new feature in this release is the introduction of the view concept. A view is a read-only projection of one or more persistent objects or database tables or the result of a native SQL query execution. Other important features in this release include support for deleting persistent objects using a query expression, support for the NULL semantics with mapping to smart pointers, odb::nullable, or boost::optional, and support for mapping BLOB types to std::vector<char>.

Download Website 04 Oct 03:02 Clonezilla live-testing 1.2.10-16

Screenshot

Clonezilla is a partition or disk cloning tool similar to Symantec Ghost. It saves and restores only blocks in use on the hard drive if the file system is supported. For unsupported file systems, dd is used instead. It has been used to clone a 5 GB system to 40 clients in about 10 minutes.

Release Notes: The underlying GNU/Linux operating system was upgraded. This release is based on the Debian Sid repository (as of 2011/Oct/04). If the "system reserved partition" of MS Windows 7 or Vista is found when restoring with the option "-k1" enabled, this partition won't be enlarged to prevent boot failures. A problem where ocs-expand-mbr-pt failed to deal with partition numbers larger than 10, and the calculation to expand logical drives was wrong was fixed.

Download Website 04 Oct 03:01 queXF 1.12.0

Screenshot

queXF (pronounced kweks-eff) takes scanned paper forms generated using queXML and reads them. Operators can then verify that queXF has read the form correctly. Once this is done, the data collected can be exported in a fixed width ASCII file with a DDI data description. queXF can be used as an alternative to programs such as Cardiff Teleform and Remark OMR, in some situations. It removes the need to manually enter form data, therefore reducing error and fatigue. It does OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) on each form to determine if boxes have been filled, and can use ICR (Intelligent Character Recognition) to determine what characters have been entered into boxes.

Release Notes: ICR (Intelligent Character Recognition) is now implemented natively in queXF. It is possible to export and import the ICR knowledge bases to share with the queXF user community. Process logging is now done on a line by line, date-stamped basis. Corner edge detection area elements are included when exporting a queXF banding XML file.
