vitunes is a curses-based music player and playlist manager whose goals are a minimalistic appearance, strong vi-like bindings, and quick playlist creation/management. It does not strive to be a full-blown media player, but rather a full-blown media indexer and playlist manager. It uses MPlayer to support a wide range of media formats. It also makes use of TagLib for metadata extraction from many common formats.
Release Notes: The 2.0 release contained a set of formatting errors in the man page that did not show up during testing, but only showed up after installation. These have been fixed.
M.A.M.E. Catalog / Launcher II (also referred to as QMC2) is the successor of one of the first XMAME GUI frontends available, QMamecat (derived from MAMECAT, which was text-only). QMC2 has been rebuilt from scratch as a Qt 4 project. Parts of the design and code were inspired by its predecessor. The new design was made as flexible as possible to minimize dependencies from frontend- and CLI-related MAME changes, which was a major deficiency of QMamecat. QMC2 uses a template-based MAME configuration scheme, which can easily be enhanced with additional command line options (defined in an XML template file).
Release Notes: The major focus of this version is clean support for Qt 4.7. The most important changes include major improvements for the emulator embedder to cleanly work with Qt 4.7 and to fix existing/known bugs with regard to auto-maximization, emulator focus, and mixed/concurrent joystick control, support for XML data that contains Unicode characters, ROMAlyzer fixes (interpret verifications through chdman as file integrity checks only), and improvements and support for additional/new XML data.
DiffKit is an application and a framework, for comparing two tables of data, field-by-field. The tables can come from any of a number of sources, such as an RDBMS or CSV file, and DiffKit is able to mix different kinds of sources in the same diff operation. It is like the Unix diff utility, but for tables instead of lines of text. Diffs can be reported at both the row and field level, and the user can configure what to compare, how to compare it, what to ignore). DiffKit is highly customizable with respect to the sources of tabular data, the details of the comparison, and the characteristics of the output (diff report).
Release Notes: SqlPatchSink was not generating proper DML statements when a String value contains a single quote. MagicPlan was not working for tables that have all columns being part of the primary key. These issues have been fixed.

Dictator is a small application for writing transcriptions from recorded dictations. It is a simplified notepad application combined with a simple audio player. The unique feature is the ability to skip backward and forward in an audio recording with a simple keystroke while typing text.

NetCDF is a format developed at Unidata that was inspired by the CDF format from NASA. NetCDF stands for "Network Common Data Form" and is a self-describing data format, commonly used in scientific and engineering applications.
Release Notes: This release modifies the OPeNDAP constraint parser to be more compatible with a Java version of the parser. It modifies ncgen to utilize iterators internally; there should be no user visible effect. It adds libdispatch, which decides whether to call a netcdf classic, netcdf-4, or OPeNDAP version of each function in the API. It has a fix for a make bug that caused the documentation to be unnecessarily rebuilt after make clean. It fixes a bug in accessing a multidimensional variable with more than 4 billion values on a 32-bit platform. It fixes memory performance problems in parallel I/O. There are minor bugfixes, speedups, and documentation updates.

Pagekite is software to make servers on "localhost" visible to the wider Internet. It can be used by Web developers to show off their works in progress to clients or colleagues, embedded developers who need direct access to devices in the field, or as an alternative to dynamic DNS for individuals/hobbyists who would rather host their own content than rely on 3rd party hosting. It creates and maintains a tunnel between your server on localhost and a remote "front-end" (a reverse proxy). Only the front-end has to have a visible IP address; the server itself can reside on a heavily firewalled computer, a mobile device, or even an anonymous node on the Tor network.

gentoo is a file manager that uses the two-pane concept and is somewhat inspired by DOpus. It strives to be very configurable and lets you do all of the configuration from a GUI within the program itself. Filesystem access is done through the GIO virtual file system layer whenever possible. Using advanced file typing and styling systems, gentoo determines how to display files in its listings, and also how to act on them. The package includes a set of over 120 unique handcrafted icons for many different types of files.
Release Notes: A bug was fixed that made gentoo sometimes fail to refresh the second directory pane when a change occurred, for instance after a Move. A dialog was added to the Split dialog that shows the various codes that can be used in the filenames. The Rename command got an option that lets you edit the filename in-place in the listing, for single selections only. A few translation-related things were fixed. The Swedish translation was updated.

My session is a PHP class that stores session data in a database rather than files. This method is more secure than the default session system of PHP. This class allows you to encrypt data if it is needed.
