Various archive formats can be created, extracted, tested, listed, searched, compared, and repacked by patool. The advantage of patool is its simplicity in handling archive files without having to remember myriad programs and options. The archive format is determined by the file(1) program and as a fallback by the archive file extension. patool supports 7z (.7z), ACE (.ace), ADF (.adf), ALZIP (.alz), APE (.ape), AR (.a), ARC (.arc), ARJ (.arj), bzip2 (.bz2), CAB (.cab), COMPRESS (.Z), CPIO (.cpio), deb (.deb), DMS (.dms), FLAC (.flac), gzip (.gz), ISO (.iso), LRZIP (.lrz), LZH (.lha, .lzh), LZIP (.lz), LZMA (.lzma), LZOP (.lzo), RPM (.rpm), RAR (.rar), RZIP (.rz), SHN (.shn), tar (.tar), XZ (.xz), zip (.zip, .jar), and ZOO (.zoo) formats. It relies on helper applications to handle those archive formats (for example bzip2 for BZIP2 archives). The archive formats tar, zip, bzip2, and gzip are supported natively and do not require helper applications to be installed.
Release Notes: Support for DMS (.dms) files has been added. A bug in extracting cpio archives has been fixed. MIME type detection has been improved.

Pagekite is software to make servers on "localhost" visible to the wider Internet. It can be used by Web developers to show off their works in progress to clients or colleagues, embedded developers who need direct access to devices in the field, or as an alternative to dynamic DNS for individuals/hobbyists who would rather host their own content than rely on 3rd party hosting. It creates and maintains a tunnel between your server on localhost and a remote "front-end" (a reverse proxy). Only the front-end has to have a visible IP address; the server itself can reside on a heavily firewalled computer, a mobile device, or even an anonymous node on the Tor network.
Release Notes: This release fixes a bug that would prematurely terminate HTTP/1.0 connections on congested links. This problem is only known to have impacted PageKite front-ends, so upgrading is optional for most users.
RemoteBox is a graphical tool which lets you administer guests or virtual machines running under VirtualBox on a remote server or even your local machine if desired. You may, for example, have a root server on the Internet, a server at home, or a server at work running VirtualBox but want to have the convenience of managing the guests easily from your local machine. The virtual machines run in headless mode, which means you don't need an active graphical display on the server but you can still connect and view the displays of the guests. The goal of RemoteBox is to provide a GUI that should be familiar to VirtualBox users while allowing them to administer a remote installation of VirtualBox. It does this via the VirtualBox API and SOAP interface, which are exposed when running the VirtualBox Web service. You can also use RemoteBox simply as an alternative interface for managing VirtualBox on your local machine.
Release Notes: This release primarily concentrates on bringing VirtualBox 4 compatibility to RemoteBox. In addition, the creation of guests now uses improved defaults. Support for the ICH9 chipset, HDA audio, and CD/DVD devices attached to a SATA controller has been added. Shared folders can also be automounted.
Siege is a regression test and benchmark utility. It can stress test a single URL with a user defined number of simulated users, or it can read many URLs into memory and stress them simultaneously. The program reports the total number of hits recorded, bytes transferred, response time, concurrency, and return status. Siege supports HTTP/1.0 and 1.1 protocols, GET and POST directives, cookies, transaction logging, and basic authentication. Its features are configurable on a per user basis.
Release Notes: This release fixes a memory allocation problem which could lead to segmentation faults.
pythonOCC is a 3D CAD/PLM development library for the Python programming language. It provides 3D hybrid modeling, data exchange (support for the STEP/IGES file format), GUI management support (wxPython, PyQt, python-xlib), parametric modeling, and advanced meshing features. pythonOCC is built upon the OpenCASCADE 3D modeling kernel and the salomegeom and salomesmesh packages. Some high level packages (for parametric modeling, topology, data exchange, webservices, etc.) extend the builtin features of those libraries to enable highly dynamic and modular programming of any CAD application.
Release Notes: Project quality was improved (64 unittests currently pass). Many improvements were made related to the graphic side. Multiple entities (vertices, edges, faces, shapes) may be selected. Fixes and improvements were made to the "addons" or Level2 API (meshing, PAF, new experimental DYN package, topology etc.). Wrappers were made for C++ static methods. New samples include traits-based parametric modeling, display customization, and more. The license cwas changed from the GNU GPLv3 to the GNU LGPLv3.
