MultiTail lets you view one or multiple files like the original tail program. The difference is that it creates multiple windows on your console (with ncurses). Merging of 2 or more log files is possible. It can also use colors while displaying the log files (through regular expressions) for faster recognition of what is important. It can also filter lines (again with regular expressions). It has interactive menus for editing given regular expressions and deleting and adding windows. One can also have windows with the output of shell scripts and other software. When viewing the output of external software, MultiTail can mimic the functionality of tools like 'watch'.

DBIx-Class is an SQL to OO mapper with an object API inspired by Class::DBI (with a compatibility layer as a springboard for porting) and a resultset API that allows abstract encapsulation of database operations. It aims to make representing queries in your code as Perl-ish as possible while still providing access to as many of the capabilities of the database as possible, including retrieving related records from multiple tables in a single query.

Release Notes: New warnings were added. A number of improvements/diagnostics of multiple active resultset handling on MSSQL over DBD::ODBC were implemented. There were other improvements and bugfixes.

GANTTIC is a Web-based project management system for scheduling resources and projects. It provides a user-friendly graphical interface and interactive Gantt charts for real-time collaboration, and is intended as an alternative to MS Project. Specialized tools are expensive, complicated, and hard to implement. Release Notes: Previous releases had 4 buttons to add new a task/project/process/user. Now there is only one. The left bar has been redesigned. Old icons have been replaced. A red line marking the present moment in the Gantt area has been added. Small arrows for moving timerange are hidden on the slider. Setting a custom date range is much easier with picking start and end dates from calendars. Picking the option for color coding is just 2 clicks now. Filtering does not require opening a special window anymore. Type right into the filtering field and you'll have a choice of groups or projects. Taskbars have a nicer design.

check_logfiles is a plugin for Nagios which checks logfiles for defined patterns. It is capable of detecting logfile rotation. If you tell it how the rotated archives look, it will also examine these files. Unlike check_logfiles, traditional logfile plugins were not aware of the gap which could occur, so under some circumstances they ignored what had happened between their checks. A configuration file is used to specify where to search, what to search, and what to do if a matching line is found.

Release Notes: This release adds pid files to prevent process collisions when run in daemon mode.

Release Notes: This is mainly a bug-fixing release. A number of issues were fixed, mainly regarding cherokee-admin. An incorrect initialization in cherokee that might cause the server not to boot on ARM was also fixed. The documentation was also updated to cover the new "Easy install" procedure. Upgrading is encouraged.

VTAGS is a command line application that will generate a VI(M) compatible tags file for VHDL source files. This application will read standard VHDL'87 files. It should also parse later VHDL, but it only takes account of the basic parts of the language. It will group items that it finds by architecture, procedure, function, or package. It does this by adding extra information to the extension field of the tags file.

Release Notes: A problem with VTAGS not always walking the tree correctly was fixed.

RBridge is a secure remote Ethernet bridge solution for Linux. It connects two trusted Ethernet segments remotely over UDP using either IPv4 or IPv6 transport. RBridge uses SHA-2 (precisely SHA-256) for authentication, AES for encryption and timestamps for protection against replay attacks. Using a registry mechanism and UDP protocol, RBridge is able to connect directly to the peer from within NAT or firewall protected areas by using a special hole punching technique (thus requiring no configuration at the connecting routers). For this functionality, RBridge itself is able to act as a registry service for any associated pair of RBridges.

Kismet is an 802.11 layer 2 wireless network detector, sniffer, and intrusion detection system. It will work with any wireless card which supports raw monitoring (rfmon) mode, and can sniff 802.11b, 802.11a, 802.11g, and 802.11n traffic (device drivers permitting). It identifies networks by passively collecting packets and detecting standard named networks, detecting (and given time, decloaking) hidden networks, and inferring the presence of non-beaconing networks via data traffic.

Release Notes: New User and Role views were added with paging, and Session and Login views were renamed. A new configuration directive, RecordPerPage, was added. A problem in which captchas were not being saved in the session was fixed. The router now passes method parameters via URL (using reflection). The font of captcha was changed to a clearer font, since the previous font made the numeral for one look like the letter "I". An error controller was added for 404 and other SCMS errors. The database now prevents reconnection if a connection is already present. All hashed passwords are now salted using xor'ed scmsEncryption_Salt.
