Cego implements a relational and transactional database system with support for the SQL query language. The current release contains the most common database features for basic table manipulation and data retrieval. Indexes, foreign keys, views, and stored procedures are also implemented. Future releases (2.0 and above) will support a multi-node database concept with log file shipping for an automatic database application failover.

It supports VRRP to set up high availability configurations on multiple nodes. It supports SNMP, integrating the BALANCENG-MIB with Net-SNMPD. It implements a very fast in-memory IP-to-location database, allowing powerful location-based server load-balancing.

Release Notes: The "llb" (Link Load-Balancing) module has been implemented, allowing load balancing of IPv4 and IPv6 traffic over multiple links (e.g. DSL-Lines). NAT is also automatically provided for both IPv4 and IPv6. The ping, ping6, tcpopen, tcpopen6, agent, and agent6 internal health checks now allow an additional, prepended parameter being the IP address (4 and 6) of an alternate target. This has been implemented specifically for the "llb" link load-balancing module. The manual has been updated accordingly.

pirysncd is an attempt to write a daemon to watch a directory for kernel write notifications and then execute an rsync command to synchronize two different directories (local or remote). This is a poor man's mirroring or an alternative (not so) real data replication mechanism based on Pyinotify.

The LA library provides a C++ vector and matrix class with an interface to BLAS and LAPACK linear algebra libraries and a few additional features. Templates (including some simple template metaprogramming) are employed in order to achieve generic applicability of the algorithms. In particular, iterative methods suitable for sparse matrices can be applied to your custom matrix class, which does not need to provide any explicit storage of the matrix elements (only matrix times vector operation has to be implemented).

Release Notes: This release adds support for GPU computing on NVIDIA CUDA (Fermi Tesla) cards using a transparent interface to the CUBLAS library. Documentation generated via Doxygen is now available (although not covering the whole library yet).

Clonezilla is a partition or disk cloning tool similar to Symantec Ghost. It saves and restores only blocks in use on the hard drive if the file system is supported. For unsupported file systems, dd is used instead. It has been used to clone a 5 GB system to 40 clients in about 10 minutes.

Release Notes: The underlying GNU/Linux operating system was upgraded. This release is based on the Debian Sid repository (as of 2010/Sep/08). Live-boot was updated to 2.0.4-1.drbl1, and live-config was updated to 2.0.5-1.drbl1. The file system header will be cleaned only when the image of the partition exists; it will not be cleaned before testing existence.

Sqlkit provides a GUI named sqledit to edit data in a database, as well as a package (sqlkit) in PyGtk. Sqledit (the application) can be run from the command line with arguments and will pop directly into the table/mask of the data, or without arguments and will present an input mask to write the database URL. Sqlkit (the Python package) provides SqlMask and SqlTable, two widgets for editing database data. It is meant to be used as a base for database desktop applications.

Release Notes: Support for sqlalchemy 0.6 is now reliable. Some fixes to the last rel candidate, minor usability improvements, and the ability to hide row in a many2one widget.

Release Notes: Several bugs have been fixed: among others, the highly specific (and quite dangerous) accumulation filter has been replaced by the accumulation resampling, and the DEM azimuths and slopes are now given in degrees. This release also introduces speed optimizations in 2D arrays and spatial interpolations, a matrix class, and several statistical methods for time series. Several new regression fitting models have been implemented, and the linear regression can now automatically remove as many outliers as necessary, depending on the initial size of the data set.
