ntop 4.0
ntop is a network probe that shows network usage in a way similar to what top does for processes. It acts as a Web server, creating an HTML dump of the network status. It sports a NetFlow/sFlow emitter/collector, an HTTP-based client interface for creating ntop-centric monitoring applications, and RRD for persistently storing traffic statistics.

DocBook Doclet creates DocBook XML and class diagrams from Javadoc comments, converts HTML to DocBook, and transfoms DocBook XML into various output formats. It consists of a complete DocBook distribution containing schemas and the DocBook XSL stylesheets. It also integrates Apache FOP as the XSL:FO processor. A Swing application is used to customize the doclet and most of the DocBook XSL parameters and to start the transformations.
Release Notes: This is a maintenance release with minor fixes and an improved HTML parser.

Release Notes: The properties of arbitrary lists of atoms, bonds, and texts (previously selected with Select dialogs) can now be easly specified with the Modify dialogs (pressing the List button). The deprecated macros GTK_WIDGET_VISIBLE and GTK_WIDGET_SENSITIVE were replaced by gtk_widget_get_visible and gtk_widget_is_sensitive calls. Direct addressing of widget->window and widget->allocation was replaced by gtk_widget_get_window and gtk_widget_get_allocation calls (so GAMGI now needs GTK 2.18 to compile). A buffer overflow that crashed GAMGI when building crystals of the space group 230 was removed.

Release Notes: The scanvirus utilitiy is no longer modal and does not interrupt workflow any more. There are now three programs: fxmoviemanager (the main program), fxarchive (the archive utility), and fxscanvirus (the virus scanning utility). FXMovieManager is now able to present selected JPEG images as a slideshow. Applicable button commands for a JPEG presentation are: playJPG, pause, stop, speed, video-out, video-format, loop, and zoom. The Copy/Move/Symlink-dialogs show the fileroot and the filename separately. The look was extended to up to 9 themes. A possible message error before the main window creation was fixed.

GNU Ocrad is an OCR (Optical Character Recognition) program and library based on a feature extraction method. It reads images in pbm (bitmap), pgm (greyscale), or ppm (color) formats and produces text in byte (8-bit) or UTF-8 formats. It also includes a layout analyzer that is able to separate the columns or blocks of text normally found on printed pages. Ocrad can be used as a stand-alone console application, or as a backend to other programs.
