The Drizzle project is building a database optimized for Cloud and Net applications. It is being designed for massive concurrency on modern multi-CPU/core architectures. The code is originally derived from MySQL.

V6 Thompson Shell Port provides two ports of the original /bin/sh from Sixth Edition (V6) UNIX (circa 1975). osh is an enhanced port of the shell, and sh6 is an unenhanced port of the shell. This project also includes glob6, if, goto, and fd2 as external shell utilities. While they remain external for compatible use by sh6, these utilities are integrated into osh to improve shell performance.
Release Notes: This release adds and documents a new, osh history-file-support feature to save the user's command-line history to the user $h/.osh.history file. This is a simple user-convenience feature.
OpenDKIM is a DKIM implementation with both a C library for writing your own applications and a milter-aware filter for use with recent MTAs.
Release Notes: This is a minor bugfix release, fixing a couple of isolated bugs and a build issue, as well as making the "miltertest" tool more current.
Steel Bank Common Lisp is a development environment for Common Lisp, with excellent support for the ANSI standard: garbage collection, lexical closures, powerful macros, strong dynamic typing, incremental compilation, and the famous Common Lisp Object System (multimethods and all). It also includes many extensions, such as native threads, socket support, a statistical profiler, programmable streams, and more. These are all available through an integrated, interactive native compiler which feels like an interpreter. SBCL is unique in being a multiplatform native compiler which bootstraps itself completely from source, using a C compiler and any other ANSI Common Lisp implementation.

The X Binary Package System (in short XBPS) is a binary package system designed and implemented from scratch. Its goal is to be fast, easy to use, bug-free, featureful, and portable as much as possible. There is a well documented API provided by the XBPS Library that is the basis for its frontends, to handle binary packages and repositories.
Release Notes: Major changes, like support to read/write from/to gzipped plist files via zlib. The external proplib dependency has been removed (it's embedded into the XBPS library). There are new flags for xbps-bin(8) and xbps-repo(8). There are some bugfixes.
FBReaderJ is an e-book reader for the Android platform. It is a clone of the FBReader book reader written in Java by the same authors. FBReaderJ supports several e-book formats: oeb, epub, and fb2. Direct reading from zip, tar, and gzip archives is supported.
Release Notes: Network book search has been added. Several problems with multi-file zip archives have been fixed. A user sign-up dialog has been added for the LitRes library.
Shutter is a feature-rich screenshot program. You can take a screenshot of a specific area, window, your whole screen, or even a Web site, apply different effects to it, draw on it to highlight points, and then upload to an image hosting site, all within one window.
Release Notes: This release fixes some critical bugs and improves drag and drop, e.g. you can now simply drag your screenshots into your file browser or email software.
getmail is intended as a simple, secure, and reliable replacement for fetchmail. It retrieves email (either all messages, or only unread messages) from one or more POP3, SPDS, or IMAP4 servers (with or without SSL) for one or more email accounts, and reliably delivers into qmail-style Maildirs, mboxrd files, or through external MDAs (command deliveries) specified on a per-account basis. getmail also has excellent support for domain (multidrop) mailboxes, including delivering messages to different users or destinations based on the envelope recipient address.
Release Notes: There is a change to how getmail counts messages in an IMAP mailbox. This release prevents problems where getmail would only see the first 500 messages in a mailbox with some IMAP servers that return oddball responses to SELECT.
The trading shim is a command line interpreter with a DBMS backend to the socket-based 'binary format' API of the Interactive Brokers' Trader Workstation. It uses mnemonic ASCII text commands to permit downstream clients to easily access several worldwide securities markets and exchanges (stocks, options, futures, bonds, and Forex) for "tick" data and history (intraday and EoD). It also allows clients to initiate and supervise trades of securities, manage accounts, and more.
Release Notes: This release adds various features to improve bulk history query processing, including the wait option in order to offload history query delay queueing from the client, and matching of history query requests with message answers in order to detect query cancels caused by pacing violations.
The C# MadMimi API library provides a portable .NET wrapper for MadMimi's mailing list management and mailer API's. It can be compiled with Mono for use on numerous platforms and devices.

Suricata is an Intrusion Detection and Prevention (IDS/IPS) engine developed by the Open Information Security Foundation and its supporting vendors. The engine is multi-threaded and has native IPv6 support, file extraction capabilities, and many more features. It's capable of loading existing Snort rules and signatures, and supports many frontends through Barnyard2.

The Standard Portable Library (SPL) is a smart pointer based, cross platform application framework. It is intended to be used instead of STL, and has an API that should be familiar to .NET and Java programmers. It includes basic types such as Date and DateTime, runtime pointer debugging, collection templates, file I/O, networking, database access, threading, and XML parsing.
Release Notes: This release adds an example commandline program to send messages to a syslog server and fixes various bugs, including UDP client socket issues and Log sending to syslog.
Python Audio Tools is a collection of audio handling programs that work from the command line. These include programs for CD extraction, track conversion from one audio format to another, track renaming and retagging, track identification, CD burning from tracks, and more. It supports internationalized track filenames and metadata using Unicode. It works with high-definition, multi-channel audio as well as CD-quality. Track conversion uses multiple CPUs or CPU cores if available to greatly speed the transcoding process. Track metadata can be retrieved from MusicBrainz, FreeDB, or compatible servers. Audio formats supported are WAV, FLAC, WavPack, MP3, Ogg Vorbis, M4A, Apple Lossless, and more.
Release Notes: This release removes external dependencies for decoding and encoding native FLAC files, improves support for audio with more than two channels, and completely re-typesets the API and format reference documentation.

RKWard aims to provide an easily extensible, easy to use IDE/GUI for the R project. RKWard strives to combine the power of the R language with the (relative) ease of use of commercial statistical packages. While RKWard is far from finished, it is already useful as an IDE interface to the R language.
Release Notes: Plugins now use ECMAscript instead of PHP for generating R code. Several bugs were fixed, especially on the Windows platform. More graphics formats are supported, and several other feature requests were implemented.
SquidTL allows proxy administrators to manage proxy users: define how much time users can spend on a specific Web site, block sites, limit total time users can spend on the Web daily, and watch users' activity. For example, you can limit the use of Facebook or other social networks with per-user rules or IP. It has a small memory footprint and very fast execution. Management can be done with a smart Web-based administration GUI.
Release Notes: An AJAX check was added to the Web GUI. The category list is grabbed in real time with XML-RPC. Caching of URL categories was added. Some interesting features (such was domain lookup) were added in the Web GUI. Some bugs found in 0.0.7 were fixed.
Piwigo is photo gallery system for the Web. The project started in 2002 and is built by an active community of users and developers. It comes with powerful features for publishing and managing your photos, scalability, and smart browsing capabilities such as albums, tags, or calendars. Extensions make Piwigo even more customizable.
Release Notes: This release adds the ugprade script from any previous release. Many bugs were fixed. This is the last release before 2.1.0.
PathVisio is a bioinformatics tool that lets you do everything with biological pathway diagrams. PathVisio helps you organize biological information and lets you present or publish that information easily. You can create and draw pathways, export them to many image formats, annotate them with links to online biological databases such as Ensembl, Entrez or HMDB, and add comments and literature references from pubmed. PathVisio also lets you sort through high-throughput experimental data in pathway context. This is a much more pleasant way to present data than just a large table. You can import microarray, proteomics or metabolomics data. PathVisio has a plugin interface that lets users customize it to new analysis types, new visualization methods, and new pathway formats. PathVisio is compatible with WikiPathways.
Release Notes: This release adds another drawing capability to PathVisio: the ability to draw "states", i.e. small shapes attached to datanodes that represent the state of that node. For example, states can be used to represent phosphorylation and other protein modifications. It's an important step on the road to compliance with the SBGN standard. This release also fixes a dozen minor bugs.

Many API additions were made, as well as improvements to existing API calls. RHN Proxy now uses mod_wsgi. Tomcat 6 was added for Fedora 12. Delete Systems script was added. Many bugs were fixed and general code clean up was done to support the 1.0 release.
