C++ Sockets is a cross-platform C++ wrapper for BSD-style sockets. It implements the TCP, UDP, ICMP, and SCTP transport layer protocols. Implemented application layer protocols are HTTP/HTTPS (using OpenSSL), SMTP (server), and Ajp/1.3 (server). Features include transparent SOCKS4 client support and asynchronous DNS. Included in the library are a number of HTTP client functions such as GET/PUT/POST, and also Web server framework components.

Release Notes: Using thread and memory safe clib/c runtime functions when possible. Many potentially unsafe function calls have been replaced. Restructured sockethandler internals. A quicker TCP shutdown sequence when the sockets library initiates close. Utility::GetCurrentDirectory has been renamed to Utility::CurrentDirectory, and Utility::GetEnv() has been added. Unused triggers code has been removed. This release is potentially unstable.

TIA is an ncurses-based console IDE for GCC, G++, Java, Perl, PHP, BASH, BUSH, HTML, and GNAT (Ada 95). It has integrated support for CVS, SVN, and ncurses compatible mice. Features include a ddd-style console debugger, automatic spelling correction, keyword hilighting, project statistics, automatic backups, and keyboard macros. The project window controls optimization and debug settings all in one place. TIA supports make, cook, and gnatmake project builders. For large projects, each user has a separate preference file.

Release Notes: This release adds popup function help and completion suggestions, and support for GCC Java and Cygwin.

GAMGI (General Atomistic Modelling Graphic Interface) is a program to build, view, and analyze atomic strucures such as molecules, crystals, glasses, liquids, etc. It aims to be useful for: the scientific community working in Atomistic Modelling that needs a graphic interface to build input data and to view and analyse output data, calculated with Ab-Initio and Molecular Mechanics programs; the scientific community at large studying chemistry, physics, materials science, geology, etc., that needs a graphic interface to view and analyse atomic structural information and to prepare images for presentations in classes and seminars; teaching chemistry and physics in secondary schools and universities; science promotion in schools, exhibitions and science museums.

Release Notes: This release adds improved Object->Select dialogs. All Object->Remove dialogs can now handle lists of objects with the same functionality as for single objects (this is the first application of the selection lists that the authors have been implementing since Gamgi 0.14). Cell->Link now supports shifts in translations and rotations for each node in Crystal mode (this is very useful, to change the lattice origin and for people doing research on Defects in Crystals). The ruler code has been adapted for Gtk 3.0. This release fixes a few bugs in Cell->Modify, Cell->Link, and the Tools section.

It features IPv6 rule generation, support for multiple interfaces, and integrated support for network zones. It currently only supports firewall generation for Linux 2.6 (netfilter).

Release Notes: The language has been stabilized and many bugs have been fixed. An option to auto-generate zone files has been added, and the rule framework has been reorganized to ease configuration. This version is ready to be tested in real production environments.

Instead of having to press enter, using one time mouse click will enable stock selection. There is a better candlestick chart with larger candle width (but slower during zoom-in and zoom-out). A bug with an unparseable date and a bug where one could not enter the email password have been fixed.

FFmpegPHP is a pure OO PHP port of the ffmpeg-php wrapper. It adds an easy to use, object-oriented API for accessing and retrieving information from video and audio files. It has methods for returning frames from movie files as images that can be manipulated using PHP's image functions. This works well for automatically creating thumbnail images from movies. It is also useful for reporting the duration and bitrate of audio files (MP3, WMA, etc.). It can access many of the video formats supported by ffmpeg, including MOV, AVI, MPG, and WMV.

Release Notes: This release adds UnitTest for FFmpegMovie and fixes multiple minor issues.

It can also replace BASH as an interactive command shell with SQL support, and is a general purpose scripting language.

SPT JCR Manager is a simple Web application used to view and manage Java Content Repositories. The application supports viewing the contents of a repository through a tree view, or through querying (XPath, SQL) or searching the entire repository. It was specially designed to support systems with intermittent Internet connections, but it also works well in permanently connected environments. Release Notes: Support for reference clocks (SHM, SOCK, PPS drivers), IPv6 support has been added, Linux capabilities support (to drop root privileges), memory locking support on Linux, real-time scheduler support on Linux, leap second support on Linux, and support for editline have been added. dl is a file exchange service that allows you to upload any file to a Web server and generate a unique ticket for others to download. The ticket is automatically expired according to the specified rules, so that you don't need to keep track or cleanup afterward. dl also allows you to grant an anonymous, one-time upload for others to send you a file, without the requirement of account management. dl is usually installed as a replacement for email attachments due to its simplicity (though it can be used in other ways).

Release Notes: The upload progress-bar has been fixed for both Chrome and Safari. The interface has been internationalized, supporting English, Italian, and German. A number of minor bugs were fixed. The license was changed to GPLv2.

IPv6 CARE, "IPv6 Compliant Automatic Runtime Environment", provides an environment where applications instantly become IPv6-compliant ('patch' mode, see RFC3338). It can also generate a diagnosis about the IPv6 compliance of an application ('check' mode). It uses an LD_PRELOAD-based library injection technique.

Release Notes: Logging of poll() ppoll() getpeername() getsockname() and gethostbyaddr_r() was added. Wrong permissions on directories are now handled. An IPV6_CARE_DEBUG_TOOL variable was added for debugging. The code was optimised. The '-o' option was removed. A man page was added, and the documentation was updated.

maildirquotad is used in conjunction with exim. Exim has no builtin facility for checking the quotas of a mailbox at RCPT TO time. And when you have many MX servers and only one mail hub that stores mail data, it became a real problem, for example, if an MX server has received mail but the mailhub defers it because recipient's mailbox is full, despite the fact that the MX server already has said to remote server that mail had been successfully delivered.

GNU Midnight Commander is a text-mode full-screen file manager. It uses a two panel interface and a subshell for command execution. It includes an internal editor with syntax highlighting and an internal viewer with support for binary files. Also included is Virtual Filesystem (VFS), that allows files on remote systems (e.g. FTP servers) and files inside archives to be manipulated like real files.
