Download Website 13 Aug 20:32 AcpiTool 0.5.1

Screenshot

AcpiTool is a Linux ACPI client. It's a small command line application, intended to be a replacement for the apm tool. The primary target audience are laptop users, since these people are most interested in things like battery status, thermal status and the ability to suspend (sleep mode). The program simply accesses the /proc/acpi or /sysfs entries to get or set ACPI values. A computer running a Linux kernel from the 2.4.x or 2.6.x series with ACPI enabled is needed. It also supports various extensions for Toshiba, Asus, and IBM Thinkpad laptops.

Release Notes: This release merges some patches received by the author, fixing memory leaks, removing the limit on the number of thermal zones, and adding some includes.

Download Website 13 Aug 20:29 mpmath 0.13

Screenshot

Mpmath is a pure-Python library for arbitrary-precision floating-point arithmetic. It implements the standard functions from Python's math and cmath modules (exp, log, sin, etc.), plus a few nonelementary special functions (gamma, zeta, etc.), and has utilities for arbitrary-precision numerical differentiation, integration, root-finding, and interval arithmetic. It supports unlimited exponent sizes, has full support for complex numbers, and offers better performance than Python's standard decimal library. Mpmath is lightweight and easy to install or include in other software due to being written entirely in Python with no additional dependencies.

Release Notes: This release implements about 30 new special functions, including Kelvin, Struve, Coulomb, Whittaker, associated Legendre, Meijer G, Appell, incomplete beta, generalized exponential integral, Hurwitz zeta, and Clausen functions. The algorithms for hypergeometric-type functions have been greatly improved to robustly handle arbitrarily large arguments and limit cases of the parameters. Other new features and bugfixes are included as well.

Download Website 13 Aug 14:36 SynScope 1.00

Screenshot

SynScope is an offline visualization and alignment tool for time-varying signals acquired from multiple sources that may differ in offset and/or sample rate. SynScope allows you to define reference points that correspond to identical events between source pairs. It then estimates the offset and resample rate to link these sources. It maps sample time from one source to the other via a link equation. Signal alignment can be inspected with synchronous visualization or resampling. With synchronous visualization, linked signals scroll together according to the link relation. With resampling, linked signals are resampled to the highest sample rate and offset-compensated.
