superseriousstats is a small and efficient program for creating a Web page with statistics from various types of IRC logs. It keeps track of its parse history and only processes new activity before storing any accumulated data in a MySQL database. It is suitable for high volume IRC channels and large log archives, and is relatively easy to integrate with IRC services (e.g. bots) that interact with the database and provide last seen information and many other statistics directly in your channel.
Release Notes: A small bug in the ordering of users in the Most Active People tables was fixed. The Most Mentioned Nicks table was changed to now select from all nicks in the database. The Most Chatty Bots table was added. A bug where Alltime Activity was off by one day was fixed. Maintenance and nicklinker classes now handle empty MySQL resultsets better. A debug option was added to the user.php page.
Packrat is a media collection manager application for Android. You can use it to add books, CDs, games, movies, etc. to your collection by scanning their barcodes and organizing them onto shelves. You can let Packrat organize your items into smart shelves, or manually stack items onto shelves of your own creation. You can also track items you don't have yet on a "wishlist" shelf.
Release Notes: This version integrates the suggestions forum into the app.
Nevitium was developed to put small business owners in control of their customer service and vendor relations. Developed by a person who has been supporting small businesses for twenty years, Nevitium is concise, simple, and powerful. It can create, track, and manage invoices and quotes. Invoice Manager and My Connections assist you with customers' invoices, payments, and purchase histories. It ships with the reports you need to calculate tax liabilities and conduct efficient product ordering. Those are just the basics; there are other tools for printing labels (inventory barcode and address) and printing checks, among others.
Release Notes: This release features simple straightforward menus, support for international address formats, management of quotes, table preview for business reports, and more.
gnome-run-dialog uses the same history as GNOME's one, but sorts it alphabetically. It also allows you to run a command as root, or in a terminal, or both. You can also clear the history or choose a file as an argument for the application. As soon as you start typing in the textentry, a completion will be shown, which shows every matching application in /usr/bin and /usr/sbin, which you can then select. It also allows you to pass environment variables to your application.
Release Notes: The code was moved from libglade to gtkbuilder. A bug which prevented running an application as root was fixed. The configure script was updated to version 7.9. The subprocess module is used instead of os.system.
BakAbenaki is backup software which runs wherever Java does. It can be executed without installation and can be used by any user, independent of the adopted operating system.
Release Notes: Some important bugs were resolved. The program is now able to back up files of any size.
Ah3 is an invoicing and inventory system for repair shops. It comes configured for an auto repair shop but can be configured to handle any shop with customers who have things to be repaired. It includes a customer and vehicle database, the ability to generate invoices, and the ability to track the repair history of a vehicle. It also tracks inventory, allowing for parts with multiple vendors and costs and other information. Ah3 is the successor to Autohouse II.
Release Notes: This version was fixed so as not to hang when deleting a record from any of the tables.
Apache Lucene is a high-performance, full-featured text search engine library written entirely in Java. It is suitable for nearly any application that requires full-text search, especially cross-platform.
Release Notes: This is a bugfix release, including a fix for a major bug that caused BooleanQuery to fail to find all matching documents in certain cases.
KForge is a stable, enterprise application for project hosting. KForge provisions project services on-demand and controls access with a robust, role-based, single sign-on access controller. Project services include version control systems (e.g. Git, Mercurial, Subversion); project frameworks with mechanisms to plan and track work (e.g. Trac); wikis and mailing lists (e.g. MoinMoin, Mailman); and content management systems and blogs (e.g. Joomla, Wordpress). KForge also provides a complete Web interface for administration of project members and services, as well as a fully-developed plugin system so that new kinds of services can be added easily.
Release Notes: New plugins were added for Git and Joomla. The feeds for the "recent changes" of new projects are aggregated. KForge now supports using Git, Subversion, and Mercurial services with Trac services. A new installer and improved install guide were added, with support for running KForge in an isolated virtual Python environment. Special character support has been fixed. KForge is now compatible with all recent stable versions of its dependencies (django <= 1.1, sqlobject <= 0.12.0). Performance has been greatly improved. Error handling has been enhanced. The configuration file is much nicer.
OpenJavaDocCheck is a doclet for checking JavaDoc errors.
Release Notes: This is the initial public release, providing seven JavaDoc tests, including for missing @return and @param tags, duplicate @version tags, template and meaningless tag content added by IDEs, and general lack of class and method JavaDoc.
orDrumbox is a fully-featured drum machine and audio sequencer that is pattern oriented, has an automatic composer, automatic sound assignations, custom drum kits, loop support, and the ability to import and export songs. Its main features are a pattern seqencer, a drumkit editor, a piano roll, a step sequencer, sound generation, soft synth, and the ability to import and export MIDI files and Wave files.
Release Notes: A new drumkit manager was added. A complete drumkit can be imported from zipped waves or from a directory.
Mathomatic is a portable, general-purpose computer algebra system (CAS) that can solve, differentiate, simplify, combine, and compare algebraic equations, perform standard, complex number, modular, and polynomial arithmetic, etc. It does some calculus and is very easy to compile/install, learn, and use. The symbolic math application with a simple command-line interface is designed to be a colorful algebra calculator that is reliable, responsive, and convenient to use. The symbolic math library is lightweight and easy to include in other software, due to being written entirely in C with no additional dependencies.
Release Notes: This release features a new plot command, which plots the current or specified expression with Gnuplot. "list gnuplot" and "set wide" options have been added.
Florence is a scalable on-screen virtual keyboard for GNOME that stays out of your way when you don't need it. It is useful if you can't use a real keyboard either because of a handicap, disease, broken keyboard, or tablet PC but you can use a pointing device. It aims at being easy and pretty.
Release Notes: Florence can now be used at gdm login time. You can now use a configuration file instead of gconf and you can explicitly specify a window to send input events to. A new focus zoom parameter hes been added to help visually impaired people (in the style section). Florence should also work better with unusual window managers.
The Amahi Home Server is a Linux home server based on Fedora (and later on Ubuntu). Your machine becomes a "Home Digital Assistant" (HDA) after the installation. It provides a growing set of community packaged apps like an iTunes server, UPnP server, calendar server, a wiki, shared network storage, network backups, a printer server, VPN, and a plug-in architecture built on Ruby on Rails.
Release Notes: This is the alpha release of the new upcoming release of Amahi for Fedora 11. This is meant as the first release with support for internationalization (multiple languages) and Phusion Passenger (a.k.a. mod_rails). Some major features like setup pages need to be released on top of this alpha.

Release Notes: The views are now filled instantly, which gives Data Crow a huge performance boost. Furthermore, the memory usage has been reduced. The reduction in memory usage is most notable on installations with 1000 or more items.
Task Coach is a simple todo manager to manage personal tasks and todo lists. It grew out of a frustration that well-known task managers, such as those provided with Outlook or Lotus Notes, do not provide facilities for composite tasks. Often, tasks and other things to do consist of several activities. Task Coach is designed to deal with composite tasks.
Release Notes: This release adds buttons on the toolbar of task viewers to hide completed and future tasks, makes subjects editable inline, removes a couple of silly features, and fixes some bugs.
Vendetta Online is a multi-platform 3D space-combat MMO for Windows, Mac, Linux/32 and Linux/64. The game permits players to interact in a vast online galaxy; fighting, trading, and mining their way to success. A "twitch" type real-time combat model makes true player skill the deciding factor instead of character advancement. Massive capital-ship battles shake the foundations of the major nations at war, while others struggle to push back the encroachment of the AI "Hives". A no-strings free trial is available.
Release Notes: New characters can now be mentored until they reach level 3 in a license instead of level 2. Convoy capships can carry cargo. A new optimized server-side collision mesh is used for Queen bots. A bug that caused sectors not to start up properly under certain circumstances was fixed. Sectors were optimized so they shouldn't timeout while under heavy load when players are present. Two special 5-year Anniversary Edition Vultures were added, access to be granted via upcoming promotion to limited newbies and current players with at least 3 months subscription.
Fetchmail is a free, full-featured, robust, well-documented remote-mail retrieval and forwarding utility intended to be used over on-demand TCP/IP links (such as SLIP or PPP connections). It supports every remote-mail protocol now in use on the Internet: POP2, POP3, RPOP, APOP, KPOP, all flavors of IMAP, and ESMTP ETRN, ODMR, SMTP, LMTP, and local delivery agents.
Release Notes: A regression causing messages to be left on the server even if softbounce was turned off was fixed. Translations were updated.
LTris is a Tetris clone with nice effects, graphics, and sound. It has a menu, a highscore, a two player mode, and an advanced game mode in which you get a new figure in each level and later suddenly-appearing tiles and lines.
Release Notes: Block drop shadow is now enabled by default. Swedish and French translations were added and translation-independent chart IDs are now used. This will create new charts for all play modes but old ones are kept in the file and can therefore be restored manually.
LBreakout is a breakout game with nice effects, graphics, and sounds. It's got a menu to configure a lot of things and a high score chart. It can be played either by mouse or keyboard. New levels can also be created, and most other aspects of the game can be customized.
Release Notes: Swearing is now disabled by default. Compilation and configure issues were fixed. The French translation was improved. New level sets were added and XDG desktop support was added.
Mintty is a terminal emulator for Cygwin and MSYS with a native Windows user interface and minimalist design. It is based on parts of PuTTY by Simon Tatham and provides xterm-compatible terminal emulation, but does not require an X server. Its features include a simple options dialog, Unicode support, fullscreen mode, drag & drop, and window transparency.
Release Notes: A new transparency option turns the window into a seamless sheet of "Aero glass". The clicks-place-cursor feature now works for double-width characters, and new control sequences allow you to query or set the font size and character set.
ModSecurity is an intrusion detection and prevention engine for Web applications (sometimes called a Web application firewall). Operating embedded or as part of an Apache reverse proxy, it increases Web application security, protecting Web applications from known and unknown attacks. It is flexible and easy to configure. It monitors HTTP traffic (including POST payloads), detects or prevents attacks, enhances logging, performs anti-evasion, and allows administrators to create custom rules to suit their specific needs. It excels in HTTP traffic monitoring and just-in-time vulnerability patching.
Release Notes: This release fixes a multipart parsing issue that has the potential to allow bypassing the rules engine. This bypass can be avoided via some simple rules, however. Other changes include a rules update (CRS 2.0.3) and some minor cleanup in build, mlogc, persistence, and the output filter ordering.
DarkIce is a live audio streamer. It records audio from an audio interface (e.g. a sound card), encodes it, and sends it to a streaming server. DarkIce can record from OSS audio devices, ALSA audio devices, Solaris audio interfaces, and Jack sources. DarkIce can encode into MP3, MP2, Ogg Vorbis, and AAC formats, and can send the encoded stream to ShoutCast, IceCast 1.3.x and 2.x, and the Darwin Streaming Server.
Release Notes: This release adds AAC HEv2 encoding support (the branch darkice-aacp has been merged) through libaacplus. The configure script recognizes Ogg Vorbis shared objects now, not just static libraries. There is a bugfix enabling JACK source compilation on Debian Lenny.
Munin is a system to gather and graph all sorts of information. You can install a node on the various machines in your network, as well as on a central server. The nodes will know how to extract various kinds of information, such as load average and bandwidth usage, and will wait for the server to request these values. The output is in HTML format. The server can optionally send notifications if any of the values move outside of a specified range (and when they move back into it).
Release Notes: This is the first stable release in a long time. Changes from the 1.2 series include scalable SNMP plugins (Munin is now an MRTG killer), SSL support, many new plugins, many bugfixes, and many other new features.
