mkESA is a program for constructing enhanced suffix arrays (ESAs) from biological sequence data. The program is based on an implementation of Manzini's lightweight Deep-Shallow algorithm, which can also utilize multiple CPUs/cores for extra performance. The generated output is compatible with the output of mkvtree from the Vmatch package.

SOGo is a very fast and scalable modern collaboration suite (or groupware). It offers calendaring, address book management, and a full-featured Webmail client along with resource sharing and permission handling. It also makes use of documented standards (IMAP, CalDAV, CardDAV, etc.) and thereby provides native connectivity (without plugins) to many clients such as Microsoft Outlook, Apple iCal, the iPhone, Mozilla Lightning, and a plethora of mobile devices via SyncML. It can reuse any existing email and database infrastructure, avoiding long hours of site restructuring.

Release Notes: The number of SQL requests has been greatly reduced (scalability). HTML composition has been added to the Web mail module. Drag and drop has been added to the address book and mail modules. The invitation dialog has been improved with slots management and zooming. The ability to limit the number of events in DAV responses has been added. Support has been added for Cyrus Daboo's WebDAV sync draft. Unicode support and some other issues with the conversion of IMAP folder names have been fixed. Czech and Brazilian Portuguese translations have been added.

ufdbGuard is a URL filter. The URL filter blocks access to sets of Web sites and cooperates with the Squid proxy. ufdbGuard also enforces SafeSearch for many search engines, blocks Skype, UltraSurf, unsafe HTTPS sites, and dynamically detects proxy tunnels. The multi-threaded daemon uses a fast algorithm that does 50,000 URL verifications per second on an Intel Core 2 Duo (Conroe) at 2.4 GHz.

Release Notes: This release has 2 minor fixes and 6 enhancements. Proxies based on webtunnel are now blocked. New sites are added as SafeSearch search engines. The readability of the log file is improved. There is much faster database load time on Solaris when libumem is used. ufdbGenTable has a new option (-s) to apply sanity checks on URLs. A warning is issued when ufdbGenTable is required to run (i.e. domains is newer than domains.ufdb). SafeSearch for Google images is fixed (the Google URL has been changed). Building on Solaris for ufdbgclient is fixed.

ePoint HotSpot is a firmware for wireless routers based on OpenWRT with some ePointy extensions and an ePoint-branded UI theme. It is distributed as a stand-alone flashable firmware-image, as a set of extension packages for OpenWRT, pre-installed on wireless routers, and in source code. It is aimed primarily at catering businesses, Internet cafés, and medium-sized communities (e.g. residential co-ops) wishing to share their Internet connection on a fair basis. The primary target hardware is WRT54GL by Linksys.

Release Notes: Important usability improvements and bugfixes. No functionality has been added.

Gargoyle is an interface for small, widely available routers such as the Linksys WRT54G series and the La Fonera. It provides functionality above and beyond what the default software provides including sophisticated dynamic DNS, quality of service, and bandwidth monitoring tools. The primary goal is to provide a polished interface for these advanced tools that is at least as easy to configure as any existing firmware. This project is based on top of OpenWrt, but unlike other Web interfaces for OpenWrt it places a strong focus an usability and is meant for average users, not just power users.

Release Notes: After one year of development, Gargoyle is officially out of Beta. Improvements in this release include improved bandwidth quotas, a new Web authentication system, a new access restrictions implementation, significantly improved stability, major bug fixes in the bandwidth monitor, and numerous minor bugfixes.

Inverse SOGo Integrator for Thunderbird is an extension that transforms Thunderbird into a pure "heavy" client for SOGo. Whereas the SOGo Connector is meant for portability, the SOGo Integrator provides "vertical" integration with the SOGo groupware server by making use of the specific features it provides. The general features provided are: remote administration of folder subscriptions, an automatic replication of user folders and subscriptions, propagation of updates to chosen extensions from a local update server, and propagation of default settings and integrated GUI elements.

Release Notes: Adapted to the improvements found in Lightning 0.95, Inverse Edition. This release grays out the entries that cannot be selected in user and folder search dialogs. It fixes the handling of user@host usernames. It adds Italian and German translations.

Inverse SOGo Connector for Thunderbird is an extension which transforms Thunderbird into a full DAV client for groupware servers such as SOGo, OpenGroupware.org, and Citadel. It does this by adding support for remote DAV address books and by adding features to be used along with the Lightning calendar extension. It is a merge of the Lightning Enhancer and the GroupDAV Addressbook Connector.

Edit functions use movable curves and sliders. Feedback is live, using the whole image, with unlimited undo and redo. RAW files can be imported and edited with 16-bit color depth. Areas or objects can be selected using freehand draw, follow edge, and tone matching. Selections can be edited with adjustable blending. Selections can be cut and paste. You can add tags, dates, comments, captions, and ratings to images, and you can search using these criteria as well as file names. You can also define named collections of images, make slide shows, and view and edit metadata (EXIF etc.). Batch processing is available for rename, resize/export, CD/DVD burn, and add/delete tags.

Release Notes: Simulate painting now works within an outlined area. The user may specify the minimum color match required to consolidate smaller patches of color into larger ones. Drag a file (e.g. from Nautilus) onto a fotoxx window or desktop launcher and the file will open in fotoxx. Dragging a text filespec also works. Scrolling around in an image that is zoomed to a huge size is much faster (scroll bars are "virtual": drag the mouse across the window). View basic EXIF data (short output) or all data (long output). Several other UI improvements and bugfixes were implemented.
