Cscope is an interactive, screen-oriented tool that allows the user to browse through C source files (as well as other languages) for specified elements of code.

white_dune is a graphical VRML97/X3DV editor, simple NURBS/Superformula 3D modeller, animation tool, and VRML97/X3DV commandline compiler in development. VRML97 (Virtual Reality Modeling Language) is the ISO standard for displaying 3D data over the Web via browser plugins ("HTML for realtime 3D"). X3DV is the direct successor of VRML97. VRML97 and X3DV have support for animation, real-time interaction, and multimedia (images, movies, and sounds). white_dune can read, create, and display VRML97/X3DV files and let the user change the scenegraph/fields. It also has support for stereoscopic view via "quadbuffer"-capable stereo visuals, and support for 3D input devices like a joystick, spaceball, or magnetic tracker.
Release Notes: This release adds an "action -> rest of scenegraph branch -> move to transform selection" menu point. It has advanced extrusion node rendering. It fixes a temporary rendering problem of the Text node in the 4kids GUI caused by an error in the text change dialog.
Steel Bank Common Lisp is a development environment for Common Lisp, with excellent support for the ANSI standard: garbage collection, lexical closures, powerful macros, strong dynamic typing, incremental compilation, and the famous Common Lisp Object System (multimethods and all). It also includes many extensions, such as native threads, socket support, a statistical profiler, programmable streams, and more. These are all available through an integrated, interactive native compiler which feels like an interpreter. SBCL is unique in being a multiplatform native compiler which bootstraps itself completely from source, using a C compiler and any other ANSI Common Lisp implementation.

Xtables-addons is a package which provides some extra plugins for iptables. It obsoletes the old patch-o-matic repository. Instead of patching the kernel source, extensions are built as modules and thus allow extending kernels without recompilation.

nautilus-follow-symlink is a nautilus extension that adds a context menu entry to nautilus on symbolic links pointing to directories, which once clicked opens the pointed directory (the real path) in a window. It does so both when right clicking on the folder icon or on the contents of an opened symbolic link.
Release Notes: This release uses a stock icon instead of the hard-wired icon location. It has packaging cleanup, and a configure script is provided by default.
JPPF makes it easy to parallelize computationally intensive tasks and execute them on a Grid.
Release Notes: Submitted tasks can now fetch data from the client while executing. A node's configuration can now be updated remotely without restart. A new sample illustrates how tasks can communicate with each other. Numerous bugs have been fixed, improving the overall stability and performance.
Seetxt is a lightweight text file and man page viewer for X windows. It maintains "document meta-data" for each user, allowing them to automatically keep bookmarks and highlights for read-only system files. It also has a "server mode" so that command line requests can be sent to a single running server rather than starting multiple instances. Other features include hypertext-style apropos (man page) searches, file monitoring, multi-level regular expression searching, a command history, and nice little toggle lights on the interface for the server and file monitor. There's also cross-application drag-n-drop support, and handy little features that allow you to view the output of shell commands and process the text buffer with an external command (sed, awk, grep, perl, etc.) Seetxt is POSIX compliant.

Music Player Daemon (MPD) is a server that allows remote access for playing music in various formats and managing playlists. It makes a great desktop player with frontend options (Qt, GTK, ncurses, Windows, and Web clients are available). It is also appropriate as a console player that is scriptable, and is especially useful if X is restarted frequently. A set of rapid development tools for clients are being developed and include a C library, Python module, PHP class, Perl module, and Java Class. The goals are to be easy to install and use, to have minimal resource requirements, to be stable and flexible, and easy to interface.
