lin-seti is a command line program allowing the user to mantain a cache of work units for the Seti@Home client. It should run without any problem on Unix-like systems, including Linux. It is designed to be fully compatible with SETI Driver (similar software for Windows), so you can share the same cache on dual boot systems.

Release Notes: This version fixes a bug that prevented lin-seti to work correctly with local (user home dir) installations. It updates the lin-seti-status.sh script to its latest revision, and adds configuration options for it into the lin-setirc file.

Traceproto is a traceroute replacement that allows the user to specify the protocol and port to trace to. It currently supports TCP, UDP, and ICMP traces.

Release Notes: This release implements a random offset for the starting source port if the user doesn't specify a source port. The scriptable output style is improved slightly and a new flag was added to allow the user to trace to the destination repeatedly for a specific number of iterations.

Jreepad allows you to store and edit all your little nuggets of text in an incredibly intuitive tree structure. Each "node" on the tree has a plain-text "article" associated with it, meaning that a Jreepad file becomes almost a freeform database, storing all kinds of information. Jreepad is inspired by, and compatible with, the Windows program "Treepad Lite".

Release Notes: In this version, an important bug in saving and loading, which could cause data loss, was fixed. The HTML export was also beefed up in various ways, making it much more flexible.

pkt is a universal XML packet archiver. It can manipulate files for backing up documents, transferring them across networks, emailing them, and sharing them by other means (p2p etc). It uses plugin filters to do the job and handles virtually any format available if there is a plugin for it. It handles encryption, compression, conversion, parity checking, decryption, decoding, repairing, rebuilding, and other tasks using a universal file format (XML-based). By default, all pkt output is in 7-bit ASCII which is UTF encoded and is compatible with XML parsers. pkt files can be disassembled, reassembled, and repaired by hand if necessary. pkt also supports the use of 8-bit compressed XML packets for its archives using one of several compression algorithms. In general, pkt will try to use the best algorithms available.

Release Notes: This release fixes a major activation Java classloader bug, adds a text editor, adds a view console, and includes UI cleanups.

It lets the user quickly create a gallery project, add pictures, write captions and descriptions, pick colors, and set the layout. Then, with a click of a button, it will create the necessary thumbnails and HTML pages. It supports completely automated uploading and updating of the gallery on a remote Web host.

Release Notes: The interface used for adding images to a project has been redesigned. The navigation links in the HTML output have been updated. The help file has been reworked to make it easier to read. Bugs with the FTP code have been fixed.
