Release Notes:
Scapy is a powerful interactive packet manipulation tool, packet generator, network scanner, network discovery tool, and packet sniffer. It provides classes to interactively create packets or sets of packets, manipulate them, send them over the wire, sniff other packets from the wire, match answers and replies, and more. Interaction is provided by the Python interpreter, so Python programming structures can be used (such as variables, loops, and functions). Report modules are possible and easy to make. It is intended to do about the same things as ttlscan, nmap, hping, queso, p0f, xprobe, arping, arp-sk, arpspoof, firewalk, irpas, tethereal, tcpdump, etc.
Release Notes: This release has its own routing table, independent from the system one. Result lists (from sr() and sniff() commands) are now wrapped with a presentation object that makes usual tasks (like listing the summary of each stimulus and its answer) very handy. sr() commands can reemit unanswered packets until no further answer is given. There are more improvements and bugfixes.
httping is a "ping"-like tool for HTTP requests. Give it a URL and it will show how long it takes to connect, send a request, and retrieve the reply (only the headers). It can be used for monitoring or statistical purposes (measuring latency).
Release Notes: Now also compiles without SSL support.
myDVDs is a complete personal Web-based graphical DVD inventory database based fully upon PHP with a MySQL backend and the master Region1 DVD database. Additionally, it makes use of the :CueCat: barcode reader for database Adds and Searches. It represents an easy and efficient way of managing that ever-growing collection of DVDs.
Release Notes: Javascript corrections were made to the dynamic update of the search form and setting focus to the search form on all pages it appears. New user accounts now get default display settings. User request queues now work again. Login failures return the user to the login screen. There are corrections to the button logic to work for the variety of situations and user levels. Some variables have been moved to the session, and some major code clean-ups have been made.
Find Duplicate Music Files detects music files that contain the same music, even if the files are differently named, and are in different formats such as MP3, OGG, WAV, WMA, M4A, and RealAudio and contain different or non-existent meta-information such as ID3 tags. The program operates on whole directories of music files, analyzes them, and outputs the filenames of pairs that seem similar, based on their audio fingerprint or perceptual hash.
Release Notes: This release fixes a bug in version 0.0.9 which would cause fdmf to exit if it encountered a corrupt music file.
QtDSO is a simple frontend for the Velleman PCS64i digital oscilloscope. It provides a fully featured oscilloscope mode (including XY plot and math) and a highly configurable spectrum analyzer mode. It has been tested with the Velleman scope with no problems.
Release Notes: This release adds a simulator and a converter histogram window.
LANforge is a unified multi-protocol network traffic generation and WAN emulation application. It allows users to generate real world customer traffic in a controllable manner. The WAN emulator allows the injection of latency and other network oddities like dropped, duplicated, and re-ordered packets. LANforge includes a drag-and-drop virtual network builder that supports virtual routers, WAN links, traffic-generating nodes, and more. It provides a scriptable command line interface with Perl libraries as well as a graphical user interface.
Release Notes: Client-server communication has been redesigned to use polling mode instead of a push model. This allows the system to support over 1000 simultaneous connections on a single LANforge machine. A rare TCP traffic generation bug and some configuration issues with the File I/O endpoints have been fixed.
Cooledit is a text editor for the X Window System. It contains a built-in Python interpreter for macro programming, and it includes a rich set of utilities and features. It has multiple edit windows and a beautiful, intuitive user interface that requires no tutoring to learn to use. It can be used as a programmer's IDE and has syntax highlighting for a large number of programming languages. It contains an interactive graphical debugger for C/C++ programs.
Release Notes: Compilation fixes for various operating systems. Several Unix portability issues have been fixed. Spurious segfaults have been fixed.
QtWvdialer is a simple graphical frontend to wvdial. It provides you with a easy-to-use GUI to fire up a PPP connection. Additionally, you have access to the output of wvdial, some PPP statistics, a monthly logfile, and an editor for the wvdial configuration.
Release Notes: The graph now reflects the connection state. There is some minor GUI cleanup.
Java Embedded Python (Jepp) embeds CPython in Java.
Release Notes: This release fixes memory leaks due to circular references in Python. It is a recommended upgrade.
The Cyrus IMAP server is generally intended to be run on sealed systems, where normal users are not permitted to log in. The mailbox database is stored in parts of the filesystem that are private to Cyrus. All user access to mail is through the IMAP, POP3, or KPOP protocols. The private mailbox database design gives the server large advantages in efficiency, scalability, and administratability. Multiple concurrent read/write connections to the same mailbox are permitted. The server supports access control lists on mailboxes and storage quotas on mailbox hierarchies, multiple SASL mechanisms, and the Sieve mail filtering language.
Release Notes: This release corrects a number of bugs including ones related to portability, the quotadb backend, and MULTIAPPEND support, among others. If you're running a version higher than 2.2.3, an upgrade is strongly recommended.
The IMAP Proxy server is a caching IMAP proxy server. It was written to reduce the load that Webmail clients put on an IMAP server by keeping server connections alive for reuse, thus avoiding a new server connection for each Webmail transaction.
Release Notes: Minor bugfixes. SELECT caching has been added.
Coyote Linux is a mini distribution designed for setting up network utility services such as Internet connection sharing, firewalling, or wireless access points. The goal is to make it as quick and easy as possible to set up a Linux system with only a minimal amount of Linux knowledge.
Release Notes: This release creates a Coyote Linux 2.12 boot disk which adds some additional statistics and options to the Web administrator. The default init string for dialup configuration has also been changed as a work-around for problems with the use of the "&" character in shell scripts.

This hologram will behave like one created using a laser, and can be projected or viewed with a point source. You create a computer-generated hologram using the MedCosm CGHMaker by specifying an input file as either a GIF image, a JAVA program, or an XML "point-source" list. Compute the interference fringes, print on a transparency, and enjoy your hologram.
