phpMyFAQ is a multilingual, completely database-driven FAQ system. It support various database systems and it also offers a content management system with a WYSIWYG editor, an image manager, flexible multi-group and multi-user support, a news system, user tracking, language modules, templates, PDF support, a backup system, Active Directory support, and an easy to use installation script.
Release Notes: This new version added a WYSIWYG Editor, an Image Manager, a complete new category module, support for XML-RPC and timezones, ISO 639 support in language files, and many code improvements. The PDF export now includes a table of contents and support for tables. The install script was completely rewritten, and automatic language detection and improved IDN domain support was implemented.
Lemuria is an OpenGL visualization for xmms and gmerlin-visualizer. It features animated textures, several backgrounds, and a lot of fun stuff. It integrates the Xaos fractal engine for making background textures, and can open the goom DLL.

The CAN Abstraction Layer (CANAL) provides a single interface for programs to use different CAN drivers. It consists of a CANAL daemon that handles client and driver communication, a canalLogger that logs messages in a window, and a simple diagnostic application. C++ clases and DLL/DL interfaces are provided. The code for this project is now included in the VSCP (Very Simple Control Protocol) project.

This Java Client demonstrates the simplicity of creating a remote control Web-based client/server for home automation control with the WiSH x10dev drivers. The package includes a socket server which runs on the same machine as the x10dev drivers. Java clients are provided which emulate the SmartHome PowerSynnapse tool, emulate the HomeControl GUI, and create a new graphical tool for using a SmartHome Templinc.
Release Notes: This version added x10templinc, a dedicated applet for displaying the temperature as reported from a X10 Templinc sensor in the form of both a thermometer and a graph. It also made a change from using a comma delimited configuration file to a simple XML reader/writer in a reusable class that can be used by any applet to manage a file or Web-based configuration. The primary application, x10home, was changed to have a better abstract model of the objects on the screen in preparation for adding new X10 devices to the application.
Skopje is a collection of small utility classes that each provide a piece of functionality based on Perl. Rather than trying to make Java code look more Perl-ish, it focuses on elements like "join" that would be useful, but are not present in the JDK. Its mechanics and syntax try to follow the "Java way" as closely as possible.
Release Notes: chomp, chop, join, map, grep, lcfirst, and ucfirst were implemented.

Phaos is a browser-based MMORPG. It features character creation, the ability to purchase/sell/drop potions, weapons and armor, traveling, inter-player chat, the ability to fight in the arena, explorable dungeons, an admin system, the ability to trade with other players, and the ability to fight other players. A download is available for people running Windows who do not have access to or do not want to set up a Web server.

Morf is an encoding tool that supports many formats, including URL, HTTP, Base64, HEX, MD5, SHA1, and UTF-7.
Release Notes: HEX C array, HEX Perl array, SQL Char array, and PEM encoding types were added. SQL Char array is especially useful for SQL injection exploits.
Snark is a so-called "attack proxy" that makes it possible for users to monitor and edit HTTP requests and responses. It can be configured to act as a Web proxy, in a tunnel mode that allows for proxy chaining, or with other tools. It also has a plugin architecture for extending its feature set.
Release Notes: Several issues with 100 continue messages were fixed along with a small bug in the output filters. Folding of messages now works. A quickstart guide was added.
Domain Technologie Control (DTC) is a Web-based control panel for hosting that can delegate the task of creating subdomains, email, and FTP accounts to users for the domain names they own. It has support for many programs, including bind 8 and 9, MySQL, Apache, PHP 4, qmail, Postfix, Courier, Dovecot, ProFTPD, Webalizer, and mod-log-sql. It can also generate backup scripts, calculation scripts, and config files using a single system UID/GID, and monitor all traffic accounting per user and per service. It is fully skinnable and translated into several languages.
Release Notes: This release fixed problems with support for postfix and the execution of the cron script, which was sometimes aborting. These problems occured only when upgrading from a previous version and running qmail.
Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory Statistics generates various statistics out of ET server log files in HTML format. It is a single executable utility and only requires Perl. It also includes a separate real-time stats monitor which has bot-like features (services like "?seen").
Release Notes: This release added an ETS-RT utility that generates real-time statistics that are displayed in-game and on the ETS Web page. It also added in-game bot features such as ?seen and !ref.
Mobile i2e is a MIDP adaptation of the Linux translator "i2e". It supports i2e and idp dictionary file types. Support for new dictionary file types can be added with little effort.

MidCOM, the Midgard Components Framework, is an MVC framework for the Midgard persistent storage platform. It provides mechanisms for building a Web site using components without much need for writing code to glue all this together. The administration site gets built automatically by using those components. Goodies like a caching engine and sub-requests make site building even easier.
Release Notes: This is a technology preview of the next MidCOM release. It features centralized session management, component-specific context information (this eliminates the need for global variables), and several Datamanager improvements (more flexible storage, a CSV interface, new datatypes and widgets, and object locking).
Quaqut is a simple program that queries Unreal Tournament 2004 (TM) game servers and retrieves information like those available while browsing servers in the game. That means information like server name, game type and current map, names and scores of players, and much more. It could also be extended to support other games.

Dudki! is a process maintenance daemon that checks whether certain processes are running (based on pidfiles) and, if needed, tries to restart them. It supports a self-test commandline invocation which can be used in a cron job.

Unified I/O is high performance Java I/O library. It features high performance (due to buffering), memory management, the ability to access streams, arrays, and files using the same interface, the ability to read or write directly from or into primitive arrays, and optimized reading over HTTP. Unified I/O also contains many utilities: Transformer, BitInputStream and BitOutputStream, PackBits, a RLE4 and RLE8 decoder, a base64 codec implementation, and many others.

XawTV is a simple Xaw-based TV program which uses the bttv driver or video4linux. It also contains various command-line utilities for grabbing images and AVI movies, tuning in TV stations, etc.
Release Notes: This release adds a lot of internal changes which are required for the new features. Due to that, several things have broken. Some aren't fixed yet, but will be available again in the future. Some features are gone forever. The new features include MPEG2 software decoding, support for DVB cards (including budget cards), and a reworked configuration framework. The dropped features include overlay without the Xvideo extension and switching of the display resolution.
The xterm program is the standard terminal emulator for the X Window System. It provides DEC VT102/VT220 and Tektronix 4014 compatible terminals for programs that can't use the window system directly. If the underlying operating system supports terminal resizing capabilities (for example, the SIGWINCH signal in systems derived from 4.3bsd), xterm will use the facilities to notify programs running in the window whenever it is resized.

gd is a library for creating and reading PNG, JPEG, GIF, WBMP, and XPM images. It has many features and can be used in scripts (e.g. PHP, Perl, Ruby, Lua, and Python) for dynamic image generation. PHP users should note that PHP 4.3.x includes its own distribution of gd, which is currently the best choice for PHP applications.
Release Notes: GIF support has been restored. Many other improvements and fixes have been made in recent updates since 2.0.15.

The PHP Exif Library (PEL) provides an easy-to-use library written in pure PHP that makes it possible to read and write the Exif headers commenly found in JPEG and TIFF photos taken with digital cameras. It runs on any platform that supports PHP5.
Release Notes: The interface for PelJpeg and PelTiff was changed so that one can now add new content from scratch to JPEG and TIFF images. Bugs in the loading of signed bytes and shorts were fixed, as well as a bug where timestamps were saved in UTC time but loaded in local time. The code that turned PelJpeg objects into bytes was fixed, and new test cases were written to test the writing and reading of PelJpeg objects to and from files. New images from Nikon models E950, E5000, and Coolscan IV have been added to the test suite, bringing the total number of tests up to more than 1000.
QtWvdialer is a simple graphical frontend to wvdial. It provides you with a easy-to-use GUI to fire up a PPP connection. Additionally, you have access to the output of wvdial, some PPP statistics, a monthly logfile, and an editor for the wvdial configuration.

DrPython is a highly customizable, simple, and clean editing environment for developing Python programs. It is intended primarily for use in schools, and is a tribute to DrScheme.
Release Notes: Major bugs have been fixed in Find/Replace, and many minor bugs have been fixed. You can now directly edit all Styled Text Control Command Shortcuts, and add them to the Pop Up Menu. Some preferences have been added, such as highlighting the current line and find under cursor.
DrmStats is a collection of shell scripts that uses RRDTool to monitor (i.e. make graphs) your system's health. A cron job updates the RRD database and generates PNG graphs of network bandwidth, memory state, ADSL synchro (for Sagem F@st 800 users), number of processes, disk usage, CPU load, and more. It's easy to understand and can be customized for your needs.
